Having a weird issue here.. I got Room Noises in the mail today from Tower, so I went to load it into iTunes, and at first my computer wouldn't even recognize the CD as an audio disc, it kept saying it was a blank CD. Then after a few tries, it finally popped up as an audio CD, and started to load into iTunes... very very slowly. Like .1x speed. I've never had an issue with any of my other CDs, and I even tried one just now for comparison. Does anyone know if the Eisley disc has any sort of copy protection tech. in place?

Ok, just some more info.. this is happening on a Philips DVD +/- R(W) drive. I have also tried it in a Lite-On CD-R, and it's working fine now, ripping wise.

Maybe my drive is just weird with the disc? I'd still like to know if it's my drive acting up or if the disc actually has anti-copy stuff on it Smile

I remember searching for Room Noises on the Internet like a month and a half ago and stumbled upon a blurb that some guy was writing about how an advance copy of Room Noises by the band Eisley had this warning that the CD was encoded to where if a song were downloaded it could be traced back to him or something.

The songs I chose from my My Eisley CD uploaded into my iTunes OK.
