Yeah, the poll is only songs that aren't on the EPs, and in my post I was just stating in general. Razz

i put trolley wood, just because i've been falling asleep to it lately and not having bad dreams.

my choice changes everyday, though.

I'm really not sure what my favorite new song is. I'm sure my favorite on the EPs is 'Memories', but I love all of the new songs. My least favorite songs are 'Telescope Eyes' and 'I Wasn't Prepared', but those were already on EPs, so I can't really strike anything out!

I knew Lost at Sea wouldn't be a fan favorite. It's good, but not as good as say..The Escaping Song. I still think that one should have made the cut.

the original "lost at sea" was amazing. the cd version is okay, but cant live up to the raw cassette version. i voted for "one day i slowly floated away" tho like others have stated, my favorite changes hourly.

I'm still amazed at how the entire album (besides Telescope Eyes and maybe Lost at Sea) can be so darn solid. Good job, Eisley. Smile

out of the new stuff, i think i like brightly wound the best. everything is so layered...the vocals and the instrumentation...its beautiful. plus i love the lyrics a lot.
i don't consider trolley wood as a new song. its just a very old song they finally recorded.
i even like the new telescope eyes...not as much as the original...but definitely a lot better than the second version.

are there any live mp3's of Trolley Wood?
i want to say originally it was the cut that Boyd said sounded sort of like Travis.

I love "Lost At Sea." I've loved it since I first heard it in Houston during the Tiny Texas Tour. I see an awesome music video for it in my head. I'm surprised "Brightly Wound" is winning the poll.

I think it's funny that the title of the thread is "Favorite EISLEY song on Room Noises"...who else has songs on Room Noises?

Brightly Wound is really good, but my favorite (at the moment) is plenty of Paper. I love the lyrics.
