Alright, so theres enough interest in this that I can look into more details. I'm kinda thinking June 18/19??? Thats just an idea I am throwing out and can change, but the sooner we get a date, the sooner things can get planned. So yeah...discuss. I'm going to bed.

I added a poll....so....gimme your answers NOOOOOWWW! **please**

So, this idea was brought up awhile ago, and it came flooding back into my brain today and I thought, well, it wouldnt hurt to TRY and get something together. I don't mind planning it, as long as there is interest.

So the idea is, some sort of picnic, in Texas, during June or July, with a lot of us.

First of all, how many people are seriously interested. And all of you non-Texas people, would any of you travel???

I figure, I'll see if we have any real interest and we'll take it from there.

Ideas are also welcome.

Ok...this is me getting the ball rolling.

You might want to set up a poll for a couple of weeks for people to indicate whether they are serious about going to this thing. A poll is just an easier way to get a head count quickly. Make sure you establish that only serious people should chime in.

Also, you should try to enlist help from someone in the Tyler area. They would know better about real estate.

I'm in. I will bring food and drinks, and skip class, if need be.

i think we're going to have to go pick up hannah!

i'll speak for Ryan (i can do that) and say the DC boys are down (maybe not LJ and Federman)

key thing to do, set the date around an Eisley concert!!! that would be crucial...

The next one in Dallas is on the NFG tour where they're playing about 7 songs in May ... do you want this to be where Eisley is headlining or the NFG date? If the former, it might be risky to wait and see if there are any summer or September Eisley-headlining dates in Dallas for y'all.

That probably wont work. School is still going in May, for most people, I'm sure. Well...I couldnt be there. And I matter the most. No, j/k...but it would suck to plan something I couldnt go to. Maybe if Eisley isnt doing anything they could play for us in the park. Ooh, that would be rockin. Lol. We could all blow bubbles at them while they play.

If they want to play something, that is fine, but I don't think we should pressure them to do a show. If this happens it should be a gathering of friends. We might ask them to do a few acoustic songs, but more than that would be too much. Have you checked with Boyd to see if he has any ideas or schedule conflicts? All this is going to be strange without the band there. Also, we'll need a BIG grill.

No no, I wouldnt pressure them at all...As of right now I'm not even expecting them to be there.

At most, I'd just like them to be there, but I wouldnt expect them to.

It'll be a nice little fun get together, if it happens.

I really havent looked into at all so far. I just wanted to see if there is interest, then, like i said, I'll go from there.
