Man I love this song. Probobly one of my top 3 of the album...might partly be because it's new. anyway Does anyone else see the possible biblical refrences in it? Or is it just me. _________________ simple, simple it used to be riding bikes through the city Xanga

Does anyone else see the possible biblical refrences in it? Or is it just me. I think I see what you're seeing, but it is not a biblical reference. It may be drawn from religious art. i like it because the label wanted them to kill the weird organ part at the beginning that Weston wrote but the band said, "no way". no slam to WB, who said..."o.k. if you like it, we'll keep it" I also like it because it's not dumbed down at all. You get the feeling that the artist (in this case, Sherri) has experienced something unique and her song is the best window for me to exerience it with her. I also just like the poetic passion... it's very clandestine to me, but rich with imagery. I also like the guitar parts on the bridge but think Jerry should have pushed the levels more in the mix. So there. _________________ EisleyWebGuy "The industrialists never saw the fruit of their own labor - Post Moderism, which I now proclaim as dead. I think this song as much as any illistrates the genius of the band. When you read the lyrics the 1st thought I had was how could you possibly make a song out of this? How could you put it together with music and make it flow? Somehow the band solves this puzzle and creates a very catchy song.To add to this it is great live. That is how I first came to love this song. I saw it live a couple of times and finally ask Boyd the name. |

POP is my favorite song on the album. _________________ Power is only pain It’s probably better to have him inside the tent pissing out, than outside the tent pissing in. Yeah I'm loving it too, the intro to the song I wasn't sure about at first but its grown on me a lot. I particularly like the 'I cut in the moon in half' lyrics...if that is indeed what they are _________________

Wow that makes me love this song even more! Glad to know it is a full expression of Eisley creativity. And good for WB for allowing them to do so. My favorite part of the lyrics are when she says Oh my love we could live on the sun...wouldnt we be attractive riding in our shiny motor cars with eyeglasses full of stars and plenty of paper for scenery painting _________________ simple, simple it used to be riding bikes through the city Xanga

Doesn't Sherri realize the destruction cutting the moon in half would cause? It would alter gravity, the tides and who knows what. So irresponsible. _________________ My photography:www.jamiemphoto.com You can't spell awesome without emo...backwards! -Julie definingawesome (11:44:11 PM): Eisley shivers our timbers |
