Wouldn't it be nice by the beach boys fades out with the lyrics "good night, my baby / sleep tight, my baby". (it says so in the pet sounds booklet that i have) are the marvelous things lyrics (Dark night...hold tight, and sleep tight my baby) supposed to be an obscure reference, or just a coincidence? but its definitely isn't copying; marvelous things and wouldn't it be nice are far from being the same song; and sleep tight my baby is something common that you'd tell to a baby. |
