I wonder if any of the NFG members read the board?

If Eisley wants to play with a pop-punky type band, Relient K would most likely bring them a lot more new fans, but it would expose them more the "Christian" martket as well, which they prolly don't want.

Also, if Eisley goes overseas, there needs to be a Radiohead, Muse, U2, and Eisley tour.. OMG.

I'd choose Coldplay over muse. Nothing could hold the capacity of that show, however. (nothing wrong with dreaming though, right?)

nfg loves eisley, that's why they asked them on the tour in the first place becuase they love eisleys music and they believe in them. nfg is a great band, they put on really good shows. they're not your style thats fine, but this tour works. eisley is soft, reggie is just..crazy and nfg is fun and really upbeat. it's a mixture of styles in music, and just because you don't like nfg doesn't mean that eisley shouldn't like nfg or tour with them. You don't make their tour plans, and they are very open minded with their music which seems to be more than you can say for yourself since you think they should tour with coldplay all the time or something.

im not trying to be mean, but really..open yourself up to new things and don't judge a band by their singles. Listen to the rest of the cds and you might find something you like.

nfg is amazinggg but I think I've stressed that enough somewhere on another post.

I don't know why everyone bashes them.
well I guess I do, it's all just a matter of opinions.

but still.

This thread kinda got taken out of control. I started it so i guess i'll try to clear it up. I was simply posting to say I wasnt going to stay and watch NFG because I think they are terrible. I was then challenged to give concrete reasons why they were terrible, and i took the challenge on. If you like NFG good for you, I dont. If you dont like hearing me bash them, move on to the next thread... I understand that its probably a good thing for the band, and i never said it wasnt.

Who is "everyone"? Thank you very much for that sweeping generalization.

NO ONE wanted concrete reasons from you. It is NOT a concrete issue. It is COMPLETELY subjective. In case the meaning of the word "subjective" isn't clear, I am including a link to the definition on the merriam-webster website: http://www.m-w.com/cgi-bin/dictionary?book=Dictionary&va=subjective. Pay particular attention to definition #4.

Looks like someone challenged me to back up what I say with more then just opinion which I then proceeded to do...

Good for you, but the fact is that for evidence to be meaningful its very existence will change minds. That didn't happen here, hence subjectivity.

Since when did evidence have to change minds to be valid. I can give someone a books worth of evidence to prove that smoking ciggarettes is harmful but tons of new smokers take up the habit every day. Are you saying the evidence that smoking is bad for you isnt valid becuase it didnt change everyones mind?

Plenty of people have quit smoking because of the warnings. Whose minds did you change? I never said the evidence had to be bullet-proof, but you convinced no one.

Im going to let the thread die now, in conclution, the orignal purpose of the thread was for me to talk about how i wasnt going to stay for the whole show. I never told anyone what music to listen to. I talked about why I believe NFG is a horrible band. If you like them, good for you, start your own thread. You wont see me posting anything in a NFG is great thread.
