Wow lucky you. I've got about 24 days until they're in Cleveland. _________________ Power is only pain It’s probably better to have him inside the tent pissing out, than outside the tent pissing in. first concert, eh? do you mean seeing Eisley (which i've never done, so i'm going with the other option) or do you mean in general? My first concert proper was the Lynchwood Berkovic Band, one of my mates band. It was a small affair, only about 30 or so folk, in his local scout hall, but you have to start somewhere. I remember there were two distinct sections of the crowd. on the right there were the people who actually liked the smells (well, minus the B.O...), the sights, the people, and of course, the sounds coming from the stage, and therefore really got into it, moshing and all!! the other half just stood there staring. hands in pockets, ala bored stylie. Good band. they even let the audience play some songs if we knew any afterwards (and we even had a lil jamming sess. before we got kicked out. ahhhh, the joys). as for music played? classic rock, led zeppelin stylie. My dad was always in bands, so I grew up in the clubs. and now, he's in MY band. Sounds weird, but to me it's totally normal. www.paulina-music.com (excuse the crappy purple please, we're working on it) I'll be seeing them on april 10th, and as for leaving before NFG, amen. I saw them at my friend's best buy store, man, not too great (it was long ago, though). And sir-what'shisname that mixed their last album, not great either, but that could actually be the source tracks being mic'd too close..... Sweeeeeet mastering on that album.... catalyst is a cool song........... They've got a great energy, i'm just not thrilled about standing next to their fans.... |

It is sorta weird around here, because there are sooooooo many good bands. Soooooooo many. There are quite a few I like to watch, but mostly people just play in bars or cantina settings(like Figrin D'an at Mos Eisley). They'll be back around by the end of the year, I'm betting. But, hey, why don't you go to the New Orleans show! I'm heading there in May. Last show on the tour! Woo-hoo!!! |

My first concert was a Neil Diamond show. I was 11. There were laser lights, and he had a hairy chest....And the stage rotated which was neat, I guess, except that the collesium wasn't even remotly full. I was in 3rd row. It was a pretty awesome show though. I must say. 2nd show, was NSYNC in 7th grade. I had strep throat, but like the dedicated fan I was, I went despite the fact that I was throwing up (because of the music? or the strep you ask? who knows.... |
