I'm going to see Eisley this Friday!!!! It just sucks that I have to see NFG too. I personally can't stand NFG. All is okay though, because I get to relish in the gorgeous essence that is Eisley live, for the first time. If anyone else is going, see you there. _________________ Yours Ever True, Darcey ( I am a male) *Tips hat* [adv]www.theredballet.com[/adv] |

Guys, don't you all realize Weston might pull some crazy stunt durring their set? _________________ Power is only pain It’s probably better to have him inside the tent pissing out, than outside the tent pissing in. You guys make me cry. Why all the bashing? Arent you decent people who I have grown to like, and think were really cool? I personally like NFG, and I really am sad that all this bad talk is going around. Sure, some people really cant stand them, but I dont go around saying "Eminem is the worst ever, anyone who likes him is a dork." Now, that isnt a direct quote of you guys....but I mean...common, its still a little messed up. Wow...no laughing in the city today I guess I had hoped to see a little more respect shown toward NFG. The fact that we try to keep negative bashing to a minimum, is the one thing that has made this community different from all the rest. Sure...you can go on other boards and bash the heck out of whoever, but we usually try to have intelligent conversations here. (for the most part) I, personally can't wait to see the whole show. I hope to see all the Texas shows. Will I like NFG music? doubtful. Do they still deserve to be treated with respect for their hard work? I think so. Not to mention the way they have treated Eisley, whom we all love here. Thinking before stating your negative opinions and thoughts about anything would sure make for less strife around here |

I think it comes down to most of us having maybe only heard NFG's singles or less, then generalizing them as this horrid atrocity to music. Even if they were the weakest band of their musical peers, they're still better than a ton of things. They've sold a ton of albums, and that's just not because they were on MTV. MTV spent a whole year or more pushing techno as the next big thing, and the biggest seller went gold. But the most important thing to me is it makes us look like terrible snobs. NFG is an all right band, and if you think they're terrible, I have some true horror for your ears. Just ask me. They're obviously very nice to bring Eisley on tour and give them an opportunity to make a huge new fanbase. The least we could do as Eisley fans is appreciate the opportunity and be a little more open minded (like we claim to be). How the heck do you think an NFG fan who loved Eisley is gonna feel when they come in here? Think if you loved a band that opens for Eisley and want to check out their community, only to find endless negativity toward them. You'd never want to go back, right? I can't imagine NFG converts really enjoying this place at all. _________________ My photography:www.jamiemphoto.com You can't spell awesome without emo...backwards! -Julie definingawesome (11:44:11 PM): Eisley shivers our timbers |

I think that we should organize a brief get together of all boardies who are going to the Worcester show. That'd be a fun time. _________________ hello, i'm Ivy don't mind my username, it's oldoldold |
