I think...

I have been putting together an idea for the next single from Eisley, or at least what I think it should be, which should be "My Lovely", because of my awesome powers of persuasion. Anyone remember the Smashing Pumpkins for their song "tonight, tonight"? Well take away the sub-story about travelling to the moon and slaying the moon men, and instead of the black and white with shades of grey they could shoot the video to look like the cover art on Room Noises sort of brownish with a sfumato effect in a forest and go minimalist on the instuments. Maybe a different type of sub-story would be in order.

not so original then, don't you think???
but i agree, that the next video should be a stellar, more sophisticated one...telescope eyes is way too simple...but they do what they wanna do...that's just my POV...

Well, I'm not suggesting they do a frame by frame remake of the SP video, but maybe it isn't original. Then again what is these days? That SP video was obviously taken from older silent movies and probably various other influences. It really is true that everything has been done before. Well, almost everything.

Also the costumes should be as close to the ones they use on the cover of RN. I like to see an homage to the album.

Yeah, I thought you might've come up with that prior. It seems so obvious. You just trying to bug me?

you're way behind dude, i already came up with the Plenty of Paper video like a month ago...it didn't use grey scale like Tonight Tonight, but it had some strange color effects...plus she cuts the moon in half, which is crucial...

Does seem funny that no one else has posted here. I'm sure Penguin will pipe in soon just to take that away from us. Otherwise, I doubt anyone will care that it is just us.
I happened to get curious enough to look at your MySpace. Pretty rare for me. I was taken by surprise when you didn't look German.
I didn't think the idea was so far out there. Maybe it is a sign that everyone likes it or everyone hates it. We may never know. Or maybe everyone is still thinking of a way to tell me how stupid it is. Probably the last one. I wonder how many kids there are here that don't remember the "tonight, tonight" video? Must be a few.

Oops, looks like Andrew beat Penguin to it!

You weren't paying attention. My awesome powers of persuasion are going to cause "My Lovely" to be the next single. *slowly waves hand before Andrew's face* "My Lovely" should be the next single from Room Noises.

O.k. I found a clip on VH-1. I'll try to find something a little better later, but I really need a bath now. This link will take you to where the clip is, but you must click on the little button to start watching the movie. The quality is poor.
