Didn't she say that after a while she lost her confidence in her singing voice? How could anyone lose confidence with a voice like that? It's amazing. _________________ Thistledown |

I will quote Kimbrtones (Kim DuPree) from this previous post. Kimbrtones wrote: basically...Chauntelle has a really cool, (but not well trained), alto voice.
When they started really playing lots of shows, back before they got signed, she was having trouble hitting all of her notes while playing guitar and having it hit her in her diaphraghm (sp?). It was decided to not have her sing vocals until she had time to do some vocal training and exercises. She just hasn't had that time, but she has an amazing and beautiful voice, and I hope she will decide to sing again someday. I am not just being a mom either, when I say she has a cool voice. She just needs to strengthen her voice, and her confidence. |

She sings harmony on "Just Like We Do," which is a pretty good sign for all of you, like me, who wish she'd start singing again. _________________ INTELLECT AND ROMANCE OVER BRUTE FORCE AND CYNICISM Smokemonster |

I think that Chauntelly has an amazing voice. It's my personal favorite amongst the band members, possibly of all time. This is why Pretender is one of my favorite songs. However, apparently, the band doesn't like it anymore so I guess I'll never get to see it played in concert. Too bad. |

I always thought a Fender Chauntelecaster would be a cool signature guitar. I'm pretty sure she sings at the end of Dream for Me too. Almost positive. _________________ "Aren't we all hanging from a fragile vine awaiting an inevitable plunge to doom while mice gnaw at our temporary safety?
