I'm sure alot of the musicians will agree with me, but whenever you play a show or make an album you hope that people will take it well and understand the creativity and hardwork you put into it. Whenever you make music you're basically pouring out your emotions and thoughts at that period of time into the sound. So when someone boos you, its hard not to get angry or frusterated. You have to understand that everyone has their own opinion though, and just because they don't like what you put out there, doesn't mean it isn't good. I've never been booed, but even knowing its just a matter of opinion, I can't say I wouldn't be angry. In fact I know I would be. |

Honestly, I can understand being booed during a performance having some impact on your morale, but I think the kids are smart enough to know that it has nothing to do with their performance and everything to do with the people who are booing. Eisley know their music is great, and the inability of a few kids to appreciate the beautiful sounds Eisley produce shouldn't be such a big deal to them. i can't imagine my band being booed.. just laughed at! but yeh, JD, as usual, you are wise! Eisley probably do know that they do make great music, especially with such moral boosters as touring with Coldplay (tbh i can't really think of a booster bigger than that...).. _________________ She is handsome, she is pretty, she is the girl from Belfast City, she is courtin' one two three, please won't you tell me who is she? One thing that angres me is people who insult different kinds of music, and the people who like them. I have met people who genuinley dislike some one due to their taste in music! That is sad. I dont particularily like music by boy bands. But they're obviously good because people actually buy their records. Their music makes people happy and thats good enough for me. The people who booed eisley obviousley did not have an open enough mind to appreciate the fact that other people might be enjoying themselves. (and I wouldnt be surprised if quite a few people bought tickets to these concerts to see eisley over the rest of the card that night!) If they cant accept music that has brought me and a HECK of a lot of other people a great deal of happiness then so be it. They are entitled to their opinion, I may not agree with them but they are. But they should keep quite allow other people to enjoy themselves. If they are so small minded that they need to criticise: wait till you get home then you can bitch as much as you like!! Until them leave one of the finest bands on the planet spread their mega fine music with those who enjoy it! P.S Sorry had to get that off my chest! |

Yes, I'm sure their next headlining tour will be a big booster also. JD _________________ "Well, hopefully that's our job, to strap rockets onto everything." - Adam Savage, Mythbusters |

First of all I don't see why people could boo Eisley, but then again not many people have a open mind to music like I see a lot of people hear have. If I had a band and it got booed I wouldn't do anything. I would probably look to see if we just sound bad and then correct myself from there. Other than that I could care less if one venue doesn't like my style of music I would play. _________________ "The only weakness man has is himself" - Somebody |
