WOOHOO! I be new too... I just got back from the show at the NorVA tonight, and frankly Eisley rocked the house... unfortuanitly they caught alot of crap from parts of the crowd (including two plastic cups of... ice and some other beverage...) but weathered it all and remained cool! so, me... I've been a fan since I found "laughing city", okay... since I ordered it, because I couldn't find it.. but definitly quality music... I'm 19, and you may call me Nik... or... whatever you want I guess, I respond to almost anything... THANK YOU EISLEY, GREAT SHOW! and such pleasent people also... meeting and greeting... _________________ This one gang kept wanting me to join, 'cause I'm pretty good with a bowstaff. xanga... because you said so maybe.. pictures? Hey everyone! I'm Jeffrey and I first heard of them this week on MTV2. I haven't had the pleasure of hearing them live yet but I am looking forward to it. I'm pleasantly surprised at how many other Californians are on this board! I live in Marina Del Rey (Los Angeles). Cheers to all! _________________ Those most truly talented rarely believe it. |

hey everyone, i'm césar. originally i'm from east los angeles (yes like "born in east la" [heck i even went to garfield high school {yes the same one that comes out in "stand and deliver"}]). now though i reside in the wonder university of california in santa barbara (which is right next to the beach [and i mean right next to it]). i first heard about eisley from a news brief on the radiohead website ateaseweb.com which in turn led me to watch the video on mtv.com which then led to the download of the songs eisley has on their website which then led me to buy both ep's from iTunes (which i add is the first music i actually buy online). i still haven't been able to get over eisley and would love to watch them live but the dates they perform around here (like LA) i am taking midterms so i think i kind of [censored] there. maybe next time. oh yeah, i also just wrote a carefully written review on "laughing city" on amazon.com but it should still be a while until they actually post it (it takes about 5-7 days). i only have one question: where could i get these other songs i've read about that are not on either ep or on the songs section of the website (or am i going to have to wait for the full lenght? well, laters, have to go back to "studying." |

potato asked: Quote: did people seriously throw things at eilsey? Yes! One guy threw a cup of ice water at STacy. Real tough guy. Throw it at the baby on stage! It turned out really cool though. Jesse, from Brand New, dove into the crowd, picked the guy up over his shoulders and threw him out the door! Ha! JESSE FROM BRAND NEW IS NOW OFFICIALLY MY HERO! |

...i honestly did not know that but i'm not suprised. i do know oscar de la hoya also came from there (not much of a boxing fan myself but worth mentioning since on the topic). we also have his this "big giant" rivalry thing going with this other high school in east la, rosevelt [which by the way is where "greese" was filmed], and the football game between these two schools is supposed to be the biggest thing going on this side of the mississippi (i honestly doubt that and i wonder if it really is as big as the admisnitration here hypes it up to be? |

Man ... if anything gets thrown at anyone in Houston or Austin ... my rather large telephoto lens will be lodged in a very unhappy location for the offender. _________________ My photography:www.jamiemphoto.com You can't spell awesome without emo...backwards! -Julie definingawesome (11:44:11 PM): Eisley shivers our timbers |

Hi my names Khuram, im from england. Im a photographer working for a local magazine, that dont pay me enough. I got into Eisley through a Radiohead website. They were on a mtv programme that was being screened on the net. They mentioned Radiohead, and how Ok Computer had a massive impact on them. And well the rest is history. I think these guys are brilliant, and still so young. Keep up the good work guys and i hope you come back too England again soon. |

I was trying to figure out if it was him... haha, the smiles on the faces of the band was great, when he jumped out of the wing and right into the crowd! _________________ This one gang kept wanting me to join, 'cause I'm pretty good with a bowstaff. xanga... because you said so maybe.. pictures? JESSE FROM BRAND NEW IS NOW OFFICIALLY MY HERO! how dare someone throw something at any member of Eisley. sheesh. If I see anyone trying to ruin the show in Orlando, I'll do my best at a nonviolent attempt of getting them to stop... I hope people dont start moshing Thats just rude to throw water at anybody performing, especially Stacy. That was a very chivalrous act of Jesse. _________________

During a play at our school, some jerks threw bouncy balls at the actors onstage...People like that who have no consideration for the people working their bums off to give fans a good show really burn my toast. Tell Stacy that I still think she rocks! And three cheers for Jesse. I hope the guy fell on shards of broken glass when Jesse threw him out! Ok that might be a bit harsh, but come on! That guy was just plain rude!!! _________________ Elizabeth: You two could never make out. You'd start a fire! Me: Why?
