My mom said that the last restaurant she worked in was haunted, everyone would be standing there talking and dishes would fly off the shelves, and things would fly OUT of the garbage can! Like someone was throwing things out at them. And, at my old house, I would be in my room watching TV and the light switch would turn on! What could flip the switch besides a ghost?

Oh, and when I was about 8 years old, I was looking at a drawing board thing on my wall ...and I swear I saw the shadow of a little boy run by (like he was out my window, since my window was opposite of the wall). But that's impossible, since our fence was 12 feet high and made of brick, plus I looked out the window right away and I didn't see anyone. It freaked me out for a long time.

My sister's old house was haunted as well. A boy had been playing "Russian Roulette" when he got unlucky and died (with his g/f and mom WATCHING him playing for real) in the living room..... but I can't remember what things he did to haunt them.... they did get the house for cheap though!

the only time i was really scared was when we were on holiday in Northern Ireland a few years back.

We were staying in a fairly modern house, but the attic space (converted to a bedroom), where me and my brother were sleeping, was fairly rustic, with wooden beams etc.

My brother, typically, forgot to switch off his alarm.

so he woke up at about 2.00 in the morning, screaming.

and then i did the same, except in a higher pitch cus my voice hadn't broken.

i couldn't get to sleep for a while afterwards. quite stupid thing to be scared of, but i you're tired...

I know, that's what I was thinking. The only thing I could think of was either they were just stupid, or they didn't know the gun was loaded.
