I wish I had met her :/

Tonight was the first time I had ever heard the band, the melodies were outstanding.

I private messaged her. What are the odds of her writing back?

slim to none.
she is probably the one that gets on this thing the least,
and when she does she usually just makes a post to everyone on the board,
but its been a while, i think.

yea the dc show was just soo great, but problem was for some reason they prohbited cameras, in this case I'm rather sure that it wasn't by the request of the band, but at the same time 9:30 club ususally allows photography, I mean I was there on thursday for Ted Leo on the Pharmacists as well as yesterday, and at Ted leo I took around 30 or so pictures, there were a few people snapping pictures away randomly around the club, but a lot of people got caught, and if the bouncers catch you, then your camera gets confinscated till the show is over where you can pick it up on your way out and all, I took like two quick pictures but when a guy next to me got his taken I decided it was time to stop and play it safe, although I did also happen to take a couple pictures with the band. Nothing really great enough to put up, two pictures of stacy, and three pictures with a few dorky kids and the band.

Yea, I had my camera in my pocket, but I didn't want to risk getting it taken.

You mean the say cheese one? Check the front page for more info on that...
As Boyd stated, you are allowed to bring in any camera you wish, even if it has a super long and huge lense... No video camcorders though.

So ask the venue first, however, most of the time, the venue don't care at all.

unlike in most of the UK venues.
well the glasgow ones.

I ALWAYS get my camera taken from me. i think it's time to get in touch with the bands and get photo passes from now on.
