Posted: Tue Jun 28, 2005 8:01 am After seeing Eisley open for Coldplay and Brand New (the ONLY reason I went to that show), it made my day that Eisley had a headlining date in Chicago. And I almost missed it, as I had a DJ gig in Ohio from Wed - Sat. But I got back on Sat just in time, praise God. I audio-recorded the entire show on Saturday, June 18 show @ Double Door - Chicago, IL. Pilotdrift, Lovedrug, and Eisley. If interested, go to nuked (I myself would love to get my hands on any existing videos of Eisley concerts, but hey...) B u t t a Chicago, IL |

I nuked the link, because Boyd has stated in the past that him and the band don't mind pictures taken at shows, but video and audio can't really be allowed, partly because of label/management restrictions but mostly because the band wants to have the ultimate call over whether or not a show is good enough for public consumption. It's definitely flattering that more and more of Eisley's shows are being taped these days, but still Eisley doesn't like the idea of their live shows being available to anyone. Boyd releases clips and songs from live shows if he and the band agree they're great, and that Troubadour show should be out on dvd sometime. _________________ |
