I see you guys have a LOT of Eisley media available here. It would be awesome (and a lot easier for us and more efficient for the hosting) if they were set up on a bittorrent tracker, similar to the same way systm.org , twit.tv , and such distribute there content. yea, it might seem like an awkward request.....but torrents/bittorrent is NOT illegal, despite the bad news reports lately regarding it. Bittorrent (and/or it's "technology") is only as illegal as the content that is shared. If the live videos and such were shared on bittorrent, it would be awesome. For one, it would lessen the web traffic for each person to download the full video. Since, the bittorrent tracker is multi-sourced, you download/upload to many users. Go to bittorrent.com for more information. Even games such as World of Warcraft are jumping on this new technology to spread there updates, because it just makes sense. |

If you are further interested in distributing media via a/the bittorrent network, here is some other sites which do the same: http://systm.org http://thebroken.org http://www.twit.tv/ http://www.leoville.tv/bt/ all of which, contain legal torrents/publications. Kevin Rose actually quit (may have been layed off tho, not sure) G4/TechTV in the comcast merger, and I guess he runs systm.org and thebroken.org now. I realize, the majority of those are small-ish audio-only transfers. But, BitTorrent works  Systm.org is full video torrents.

I just saw this really old post.  Sorry. I am capable of hosting vids and stuff if no one else is on my friend's server (I have space there and he lets me use whatever I need/want.). I don't know if anyone is watching this thread, but if you have stuff you want hosted of Eisley, I can do it. Even if it is for OGG and you have a huge file. Just PM me or something.
