Eisley Interview @ The House of Blues 11-13-03 Stacy: I’m Stacey and I play keyboards and sing for Eisley. Sherri: I’m Sherry and I play guitar and sing for Eisley. Becca: So give me a brief description of the band. Sherri: The music or the band in general? Becca: Both. Sherri: Ok, well the band is made up of my two sisters, my brother and I, and our best friend Jonathan. We play kind of a melodic rock, Beatles and Radiohead kind of thing with girl vocals. Becca: How old are you two? Stacy: I’m 15. Becca: Wow, you’re young. Stacy: Yeah, I just turned 15 on Halloween. Becca: Happy Birthday! What did you do for your birthday? Stacy: A lot of stuff. Sherri: We got her a Harry Potter costume. Becca: Did you go trick-or-treating? Stacy: No. Sherri: No we went to a silly dance party with our friends. Becca: And how old are you? Sherri: I’m 19. Becca: Now, you look older than your actual age (Stacy), and you look younger than yours (Sherri). Sherri: Everyone says that. Stacy: Yeah, everyone does say that. Sherri: I’m gonna look younger longer. Becca: Hahaha, so where are you gals from? Sherri: Texas. Stacy: Near Dallas. Sherri: Texas (with a thick southern accent), in Charlie, near Dallas. Becca: How old were you when the band formed? Stacy: I was eight. Becca: Really? Wow. Stacy: I was a cute kid. Sherri: You are a cute kid. Becca: So are your parents on tour with you guys? Sherri: Our Dad is, but he’s ill at the moment, he’s at the hotel. Becca: Oh, I’m sorry, I hope he feels better. So, what are some of your other favorite bands? Sherri: We listen to Bjork, The Shins, Kent. Stacy: We listen to Brand New. Becca: Man, that was so awesome that they dedicated that song to you. Sherri: Yeah, they do it every night. Becca: Do you have any last words you'd like to say to the Dirty Children? Sherri: I don’t know. Be happy. Stacy: I don’t know. Becca: Anything funny to say? Stacy: No. Sherri: Awww… Stacy’s funny lookin’. Just kidding.
