 Post subject: My story of the Chicago show/my surprise birthday present.Posted: Wed Jul 27, 2005 4:20 am 
Well here's my story...I was on vacation, so I couldn't go. My friends were there; so when I was at the arcade in Virginia Beach, they called me and said "hey, we're at the show. Do you want to hear them?" So I was like, "Of Course!" So I heard Telescope Eyes over the phone while playing Time Crisis, which was fun, yet an odd mix. My friends call me later and says, "Hey, hold on for a second." It was a surprise they told me about before I left for vacation. Next thing I know, I hear over the phone: "Hi Gerard, this is Chauntelle!" As my friend said, "I bet his head just exploded." So I got to talk to her for a few minutes, which was great. So that was my surprise...and quite a wonderful one at that. My friends wanted to pass on the phone to everyone, but they were keeping up the line. But it was awesome, because I got to talk to her finally - even though she was right next to me at the House of Blues show, I couldn't talk to her. Yeah, i talked to Jon over the phone at the Chicago show, got to say my goodbye's and good luck's. Though I wish I could have been there. He said it was the best show of the tour. *shakes fist at summer school* _________________ http://www.compassion.com/Default |

i think your friends were standing in front of me during the show, cause i saw someone dial up and lunge their phone forward towards the stage. hah. that was nice of them to do that for you. equally as nice of chauntelle to talk to you too. _________________ Tweet me @teagone |
