Sorry to waste space with this, guys. But I was wondering if anybody could tell me what the difference is between the 'outbox' and the 'sentbox' in our message spaces.

I was pondering it because I just sent a PM and it is in the 'outbox' and not in the 'sentbox'. I just want to make sure that it was sent. But if I don't find out the difference between the two, I won't be able to stop thinking about it.

If I'm not mistaken, I do believe outbox is messages that haven't been read yet.

OHHHH! So once they are picked up they go to the 'sentbox'? That makes total sense. Thank you so much! Now I won't have to toss and turn with that Mobius strip in my mind.

No problem! I had the same question a long time ago on another forum. I know the pain you go through...all the confusion. Very Happy

That is correct, your message sits in the "outbox" until it is read. Then it moves to the "sentbox".

The cool thing about that is, you can go back and edit, or even delete, your message, as long as it hasn't been read yet! Like, for instance, when you wrote one of the Eisley girls and professed your undying love to her, and asked her to marry you.....then you realized she'd surely think you were a freak for sending something like that.....whew! that message was still in the "outbox"! deleted!
But nobody would ever do something like that, would they?
