just an observation, walked by my little bro today noticed he had 20 (thats twenty) IM windows open...I was in awe, mostly because the most I've ever had open was probably nine and I found it very hard to keep up and have a conversation with anyone.

well i talk to john/unclearlies, bret/darknightholdtight, my mom, and my grandma...those are the peole i have been talking to over aim lately.....but 20 in all...

20 at once!! Holy moly!

I go crazy after 4 IMs. I usually keep it around 2 or 3. I prefer 1-3 (depending on who I'm talking to). But I've been up to 5 or 6 some recently.

I don't hardly ever IM anyone, I always let other people IM me... so I keep it in the 2-3 range, usually. Sometimes it gets to like... 5... that's out of hand for me, because I feel overwhelmed.

I have 55 people on my AIM buddy list and 8 on my MSN contact list.. but I only talk to 5 on AIM, 3 on MSN. I have recently stopped talking to people unless they IM me first because only 2 people ever IM me first and I feel like a doof when I IM first, like they don't really want to talk or something..

i use AIM mostley to set up plans with friends, or to talk quickly with my friends at college.

i hardly ever hold conversations on there. ok, maybe one once a week.

it wouldn't be so bad if they actually IMed me some, but out of everybody, only 2 people IM me first and the others don't even do it when they have something to tell me.

usually 3 or 4 at max but mostly just one. i feel bad maintaining a lot of conversations at a time because i feel like i'm not listening to anyone heh. somtimes i even copy/paste replies from one conversation to another which is even worse hah

i have a panic attack if i talk to 3 or more people at once. that happens rarely, but when it does, i usually end up typing incoherently and freaking out at someone. there are only a few people i talk to regularly.

and i'm glad to see i'm not the only one who hates IMing first. it gets annoying. i feel like i'm forcing them to talk to me.
