I can't wait to see garron with Eisley. Counting down the days for the switchfoot concert....well not really. But I do plan on going _________________ "Speak when you are angry - and you'll make the best speech you'll ever regret" www.purevolume.com/247 |

officially, i want to appreciate Garron too. he's amazing. if he was quiet, (above thread) it's just because this is all new to him. gosh, how long have those dorky dupree siblings been confronting the public side of this... since their first show in 98. Garron is 15. He's not knew to music, or performing, but... it's never been within the context of a rock band. Think how weird that would be... one day, you're this kid, minding your own business - living out in the country on several acres... riding 4 wheelers, playing guitar, drums, bass, ipod... going to a Vineyard church - involved in the music, actually leading his agers... (simul world. mirror fam' in another market. 5 kids. music lovers. craziness) and your cousins in this band called Eisley roll thru town, have a sell out show in 180 degrees temperature, you go out to eat at a nearby Chinese food restaurant and while you're chomping an eggroll, you hear..." hey Garron...the way, you wanna play bass for us? Jon is leaving the band." ha ha... omygosh. the weirdness of that. anyway. Read my post called "checking in" - Official Yahoo Tour Central for a bit of nostalgia and comment on Garron. gotta go. _________________ EisleyWebGuy "The industrialists never saw the fruit of their own labor - Post Moderism, which I now proclaim as dead. Whoa, so I saw Eisley on the night Garron was asked to be in the band? That's kind of cool. I just wish I had known that it was the last time I would be seeing Jon with Eisley. _________________ Just to lay with you, there's nothing that I wouldn't do (save lay my rifle down). |
