This is probably a strange question, but does anyone know how tall Garron is? Relatively?

He is about 6'1" maybe a little more by now!

Wow! He's a tall one... But what did I expect, he is a dupree boy! Smile I wasn't sure becuase he looked a bit shorter in photographs, I was thinking more around the height Jamie guessed (5'7" or 5'8") but I guess he is much taller! I should have known; silly me. Smile

Thank you!

i think that the duprees all have the same curvy lips. i noticed it the first time i saw the "I wasn't prepared" video. i knew garron and madison were dupree's the second i saw them.

i hope garron is ready for this:)

Talitha! It's a party! Smile

I should come up with a comprehensive report on DuPree features ... heh.

In my height-estimate defense, I've never stood face to face with Garron. Well, not that I can remember. Maybe at one of those Houston shows ... Anyway, I don't like pushing myself on people so that was based on a little distance. Confused

Is it just me, or does his bass look an awful lot like Chauntelle's Bloatus?

You will be greatly missed Jonathon David Wilson. Great bassist, great guy.

it is just you, you must be crazy or something.
it is hard for me to see any resemblence between the two, other
than the fact that they are both in the stringed instrument family.

Same color body, similar pickguard, both based on classic Fender models...

I asked Garron to sign my poster when I met him after the show with Hot Hot Heat in San Francisco. He looked at me like I was crazy! Shocked

Garron is a dream come true. I never expected this transition to be so seamless. You guys are making this very special. No joke. I am constantly amazed at how considerate, kind, supportive you guys are. It was sad saying goodbye to Jon the night before we left... but he was there, supporting us and sending us out... cheerful, confident, funny... just like Jon. I think he'd feel really good about Garron filling his shoes... and, Garron is nailing these songs. Tight. solid.
