I played the French Horn from 5th grade to 10th grade.
A bunch of kids made fun of me in band because I was shy and wouldnt talk to any of them.
My freshman year, the trombone and baritone boys would whisper horribly obscene things to me and piss me off. Also, the other girl French Horn players would get mad when I got 1st chair and call me a "French Whore". So I quit.

I can play the trombone, but I quit because my teacher became a control monger and it wasn't about the music anymore.

Awe, band kids at my school are like... well, we're our own huuuuge clique. If you're part of the music program, you're automatically awesome with everyone else in the music program.

It's a common misconception that band is nerdy, but in our school- everyone takes band. Everyone is so awesome, last year when I joined jazz band- everyone was sooo awesome to me, helping me out and being really encouraging. Then I joined band this year and everyone is just as helpful and encouraging. It makes me so much more excited to have class with them.

Then, I get into the school, and Will, a senior... slap on my name tag for me! Wasn't that nice? I didn't even have to peel it off the paper, he did it for me. :]

Wait a sec, don't people usually wear nametages on their... er... chest regions? Neutral

Anyway, my school was too small to have a band.

the band at our school is amazingly good, we win tons of competitons... and its kinda funny, the band kids aren't losers or anything at my schoolm but everyone does call them the "band fags" just because about 3/4ths of the band IS actually gay. (the band came up with that name, not everyone else lol) but i'm frinds with a lot of them, i love the band kids.

I'm in a band.

It's me on drums,

craig lead guitar,
Stephen rythym guitar.

that's it, so far. We haven't practised in yonks. so we're not a proper band. so yes and no. there's no yes and no option. oh well.
