Well, I waltzed over to Fenway Park late, figuring I might miss out a bit o' VIP buffet, but way too cool to be hurried. I had my laminated-with-lanyard in the pocket of my jeans, sort of dangling out, like it was just another cool thing about me. I could hear the Stones starting their set and stepped it up a bit. Security said 'Whoa! Eisley VIP! This way please!' (unclick velvet rope). Big shout out from Mick and the boiz to Boyd and the kids. And he said Boyd's cover art for the Stone's new CD is awesome but he needs to replace the Lone Star with a Union Jack.(nice try!) And Chaunty owes him a PM. Then he said 'Have some grapes'. |

This one time I was just walking along on the streets of Oxford, proudly sporting my now-vintage 2003 slate grey Eisley logo t-shirt. As I passed a park I heard somebody running to catch up with me. "Hey," said a clipped, elegant British voice, "you listen to Eisley?" I turned to see Thom Yorke, with Colin Greenwood close behind him. "Yeah," I answered, "they're amazing." Obviously enamoured of the band, Thom said, "I just found out I have the same birthday as Stacy. Isn't that cool?" Colin added, "We were just about to go get a pint, if you want to come along." "Sure," I said, so we walked to the Jericho Tavern, talking Eisley the whole time. I had a pint with Thom and Colin and we discussed the EPs, Room Noises, the "Sun Feet" DMD, and Sherri's hairstyles. When Thom and Colin had to leave for a photo shoot, I shook Thom's hand and Colin signed the back of my iPod, and they both promised to come to my acoustic show at the Jericho the next evening. Pretty cool, huh? Just wait 'til you hear about my encounter on the streets of Dublin with Bono and Larry Mullen, Jr. _________________ INTELLECT AND ROMANCE OVER BRUTE FORCE AND CYNICISM Smokemonster |

I was visiting a small village in South Africa at a "One Campaign" rally, wearing my Ireland shirt Bono took notice and ask if I was from Ireland. I said, "No but my family moved from there after the great potato famine, but like to visit there on weekends" he asked what my last name was and I told him, "Kavanagh." Shocked, Bono exclaimed that his grandmother's maiden name was Kavanagh. After flying to Dublin, with the Edge, and doing some research we found that Bono's my uncle, once removed. Its amazing I didn't see the resemblance sooner... I mean our noses are exactly the same and the glasses he wears are actually prescription. Turns out his eyes are just as bad as mine so we traded glasses. Unfortunately, we forgot to switch back before I left so had to keep his, and the ones he wore on tour are mine. _________________ erinbeth84: forget pro-choice and pro-life. i'm going pro-duck. I forget exactly what they do, but now you're probably impervious to bullets or you can fly or something. _________________ INTELLECT AND ROMANCE OVER BRUTE FORCE AND CYNICISM Smokemonster |

i was walking in the meadow like i always do and came along a rabbit. i bent down to pick it up and from behind me a voice called out, "hey! you like rabbits?" and at that moment i knew it was weston. he likes rabbits. and then this bear out of nowhere roared and frightened us. but it was just sherri playing a prank on us. we talked for a bit and then something made a chirping sound, but it definitely wasn't a bird because it was a loud "chirp". i knew it was chauntelle. she did that at the bowery show so, that didn't get me. and then a large frog came and hopped next to us and out popped stacy and garron. those silly kids. and then i heard something moving about in the trees. i looked up and i was shot by a tranquilizer. that's all i remember. i fell asleep and awoke in a family's basement. who's? i don't know. i'm typing from it so, someone please help me! i think it's the dupree's house! get me out of here, these people are crazy!!! |

The only power I've found I have is the ability to rally people behind any cause of my choosing. I think I'll start a "End Bad Music Campaign," and you *points* will join. *Laser shoots out of pointed finger* *Laser hones in on Ashlee Simpson, who is instantly vaporized and left to ashes* Huh...how 'bout that... _________________ erinbeth84: forget pro-choice and pro-life. i'm going pro-duck. There was a knock on my door at about 2AM. I assumed it was the jazz police coming to get me yet again. But....it was the band Eisley, and a whole bunch of other people. "Hey" the little blonde said "Do you mind if we stay here?" "Sure" I said, "And...I just happen to have dinner for 15 people on my table right now. I just need to light the candles" Then, after a good night's sleep, they all went out into my garden and spent the day weeding and planting and pruning. There was a big wasp nest in the top of a 30 ft. tree, and that tall drummer boy just reached up and whacked it down. The old Dad guy and I bought 18 Aerobeds and lined the floor of my spare bedroom with them. We bought some parachutes and made giant sheets of silk. I put a sign on the door: Eisley's Room Forever. The End. |

so i was just finishing up my set with my awesome band, when i go backstage to the lindsay lohan dunking booth. it seemed as though the balls had been missing the target and hitting lindsay in the face, which was just as well with me. but who steps up next to nail the teen queen? why, a certain miss sherri dupree. sherri nails lindsay straight in the nose, turns around and tells me she loved my band's set. sherri continues by telling me that they are doing a worldwide tour with 4 other bands (the shins, the arcade fire, luvbeat, and the postal service) and asks me if i would like to have my band join the tour. of course i say yes, and she goes on to explain that michael jackson died 6 days ago in a freak accident involving a giraffe. that meant the rights to the beatles' songs were now open. eisley really wanted to cover them, so johnny depp bought the rights to the songs for them, and their first beatles cover will be strawberry fields forever. and they've decided to allow my band to cover maxwell's silver hammer. _________________
