Realizing that Jesse announced before his 3,300 sold out crowd at the Roseland Ballroom tonight to come see Eisley - his favorite new band ...and that he'd be there, I decided to creating a special new topic just for today to give New Yorkers info on the Eisley's show tonight. (Saturday) btw. Jesse sings a verse on one of Eisley's songs. (that's to allure you Brand New fans - heh-heh) I also heard that the New York Times talked up this show today and I picked up a copy of "Time Out" here in the hotel room only to find Eisley's photo, a nice write up and the scoop about tonight's show. The club only holds 250 people - so, it's going to be tight. There are 3 other bands on the bill; eisley was added as the feature band on the front of the bill. I bought 25 tickets already on line because virtually all the Hot Rod guys, the Brand New guys - all their crew, WB people and tons of people we met including all of Jesse Lacy's family want to go and wanted to know if I could get tickets and they'd pay me back. It's an 18 and up show - so unfortunately that leaves out tons of people. (sorry) Doors open at 7:30pm. There are 3 other bands playing after Eisley. I know nothing about them. Eisley is being called the headliner - though they're set is first. Should be about 10-11 songs (45minutes) Sin-e 150 Attorney Street Stanton, NYC, NY 10002 212.338.007 I know it's lame, but here's a link (long line of text) to buy tickets on line so you can have them waiting at will call for you or your guests. The website for the venue is: http://www.sin-e.com/ but here's the link to buy a ticket: http://www.ticketweb.com/user/?region=nyc&query=schedule&venue=sinev Hopes this gets out and I hope it doesn't sell out so anyone who wants to get in can get in. If you're bored and you want to catch up on Eisley's tour with Brand New, check out this thread: http://www.eisley.org/forum/viewforum.php?f=14 Thanks. What I wouldn't give to see this show. Unfortunately, I'm in the bizarro world of New York (L.A.,... just in case). Eisley, please tour soon as the headlining act. Anthony _________________ "Anthony! C-Caw!" Does it really matter whether I put the toilet seat down or not? |

Mr Boyd, please hurry up n get another UK show sorted, i know its not really upto you or the band, but just try, please. i will travel to see that one, wherever, ill be there for sure. no doubt when they eventually come they wont play my city, everyone seems to bypass the north east of Angleterre. well if its london i know a cool hostel that cost like £30 a night so it just cost me too much. why i'm rambling, ill stop. oh and Boyd, please post the setlist when you report on the show. thanx _________________ "A mathematician is a blind man in a dark room looking for a black cat which isn't there." - Charles Darwin (legend) |

cool. I also e-mailed Bill at the club to make sure about the age deal. And about attendance. I might be all washed up, you know. That's always a wild card. Maybe nobody will show. Either way, we're excited and...after, dude...we are SO pointing our van toward Texas (with a brick on the gas pedal) No, seriously, we got a TEX-ometer installed. There's this big screen with the state of Texas on it....and you just drive making sure the state stays in the center of this bullseye...and you don't even have to see out your wind shield. You just go. Yeah. awesome. see you tonight. The band will totally hang out and talk to people, like always. oh Juan. Just saw your post. sorry. Man, wish I knew more. It's all about the full length from here. After we come out of that tunnel - which is - who knows when - I'm sure there will be a massive tour planned which will trail into an european tour. boyd _________________ EisleyWebGuy "The industrialists never saw the fruit of their own labor - Post Moderism, which I now proclaim as dead. I clicked on the link to order tickets, and it said: "Please note this is a 21 & over performance. Any ticket-holder unable to present valid identification indicating they are 21 or over will not be admitted to this event, and will not receive a refund". That doesn't seem right. I was at the L.A. show and I'd say 80% of the audience was under 21. That would leave out a lot of Eisley fans. Take care, Boyd, and all of you have a good long rest when you get home! don |

How long did they play? I'm sooo jealous ... I guess it's stupid to ask for a report, since Boyd is so cool and will have one up at some point. (Though it's totally not necessary for him to do such things.) _________________ My photography:www.jamiemphoto.com You can't spell awesome without emo...backwards! -Julie definingawesome (11:44:11 PM): Eisley shivers our timbers |
