To Everyone, What is your favorite Eisley song so far? And more than that, why is that your favorite? I know it's hard to choose, but c'mon, i like asking random questions. Mine would have to be The Winter Song. It's a gorgeous song that reminds me of two people stuck in a winter storm together without any of the everyday distractions, so they come to realize each other again. Dustin M. Lester |

My favorite song changes pretty often but right now it is Becoming you. I love how simple and light hearted it is. Memories is also one of my favorites. The lyrics are just so awesome ".. dreary birds parade accross a dreary sky and look down below.." ".. after all I am the one who is gone.." ".. distant though i am, orange, gold, and green firing flaming colors surround me..." _________________ "Religions have started on lesser revelations" - investor on MarketWatch.com |

I haven't heard the "Marvelous Things" EP yet (I've heard all of the unreleased stuff on the site and the "Laughing City" EP), so I can't figure those songs into my opinion... |

For now, it'd have to be Laughing City. My body nearly shuts off for three odd minutes, while my mind is trying to comprehend the ridiculous gorgeousness of this tune. And the lyrics are simplistic, yet thoughtful and honest. _________________ My epitaph, should I ever need one, God forbid: 'The only proof he ever needed of the existence of God was music.' -Kurt Vonnegut "...dance when you forget to wear pants..." -Seanbaby |

My fav song is Telescope Eyes. The song itself is so simple yet so intoxicating. It talks about 2 angles of life in which we all deal with at some point. The harmony in the song is un-parrallel to any other ive heard so far. Mr pine has been considered the best song ever made by the way. Ive read that on numerous sites. So Telescope Eyes takes the cake for me. Any song by Eisley really, truly kicks ass. I love them.-----Chris Aldrin p.s. Chauntelle is hotttt _________________ .egassem lanimilbus a si sihT |

That would have to be Mr. Pine, although Sea King is giving it a good run for it's money (close tie?) Mr. Pine I've just loved for a while.. dunno.. Sea King I'm really enjoying because for whatever reason it has a holiday feel to it. *shrug* _________________ "The revolution starts today, not tomorrow." :: got g-Love? |

Stacy and I were just chatting in the kitchen (her and Christie made a downstairs candy raid and we met with our hands in the jar)..about favorite songs, songs for the LP and which ep was best. She favors Laughing City ep....and thinks Laughing City is her best chorus to date....and thus thinks it might should be on the full length. I doubt if it'll ever make it, but...one thing to remember: ep's don't really exist. What percentage of Coldplay's market owns one of their pre- Nettwerk America recordings...who even know's the name of their indie label in the UK? Deep fans do, but that's all. Ep's are just tremors... rumblings of birth...like labor....the real baby is the first record. That's when 95 % of the industry, the radio market, fans come on board. So, all the early songs really are just "wasted" as Stacy so aptly puts it. Just thoughts. My favorite song: gosh....i dunno. I love "They All Surrounded Me"...but I agree with Stacy..."Laughing City" is near perfect. i think different songs for different moods. _________________ EisleyWebGuy "The industrialists never saw the fruit of their own labor - Post Moderism, which I now proclaim as dead. Oh yeah...They All Surrounded Me (because it's so relevant, probably, and the emotions are so relative). I could make a good case for Laughing City too, possibly. Maybe there should be a thread for least favorite Eisley song and why. _________________ http://xanga.com/adamaustin66 |

Tough choice. Three way tie. Head Against The Sky, Mr. Pine, and Marvelous Things. MT is barely ahead. Man, this is a hard question. I going to submit this before i change my mind (and i most likely will). Best Anthony _________________ "Anthony! C-Caw!" Does it really matter whether I put the toilet seat down or not? |
