Hi Drippingtap! Welcome! Check out the Eisley store at the top to buy the Room Noises CD (or vinyl if it tickles your fancy). Have a super swell time. ----------- And I figure you guys don't know me either because I've been mostly a lurker here. I'm Lin from right-by-Denver, Colorado. I was Geekette on the e-Merge, in case that says anything to anyone. <3 _________________ --Lin-- If I had something clever to say... Audioscrobbler lies the overcast |

Uggh, I hate being a n00b. Well, my name is Michael. Some of my nicknames include: Mike, Mikey, Juggles, The Thnikkaman, Hey, You!, That Kid Who Won the Spelling Bee In 7th grade, and The Yellow-Dart. I like juggling, listening to music, and juggling and listening to music at the same time. I'm so old-school, they tore the school down. I'm not much of a conflict kinda person. I guess you could say I'm like Marvin McFly in a way. I have a mommy, and I even have a daddy. I once drew hair on my feet when I went to the LOTR: ROTK premiere because I'm a hxc nerd like that, and you're totally jealous. I like reciting comedians and stuff because I don't have a sense of humor of my own... well, I have my own sense of humor in a way, but it is strongly influenced by greats such as: Dane Cook, Daniel Tosh, and Strongbad. I haven't ever been to band camp, but I plan on going one day, just so I can say, "This one time at band camp!..." What's up everyone? My name's Josh and I'm a junior at OU. I'm from Keller, TX. I'm turning 21 on the 29th. I first saw Eisley (Mos Eisley at the time) perform when I took my g/f to see Coldplay in Dallas. I bought Room Noises and it's brilliant. I can't wait to head back home to Texas to see them perform at the Gypsy Tea Room. "Head Against the Sky," "Sun Feet," and "Brightly Wound" are my fav. tracks. |

Hey Michael. Hey Josh. My oldest sister's friend is a comedian (Dwayne Perkins...is awesome), and I'm pretty sure he's friends with Dane Cook or something... I saw this kid I knew 4th grade class (6 years ago) a few months ago and he still recognized me, despite my having since gotten glasses and growing a foot or something. And he remembered me as the kid who used big words. So I guess that sort of compares to the spelling bee thing. It kind of sucks sometimes, being known as the "smart" kid or the kid who used big words. So does not being able to juggle. That would be awesome. I couldn't even juggle flippin' scarves in elementary school. My other older sister heard Mos Eisley at the Coldplay tour first, too. She downloaded a bunch of stuff, and I listened, because she's sort of brainwashed me into listening to the same stuff as her. So my first Eisley song was "Blackened Crown" I do believe, and I was like, "Uhh...this is fabulous!" and became a stalker. 3 days 'til Josh turns 21! _________________ --Lin-- If I had something clever to say... Hi, I guess I'm a newbie here so greetings... my old band, "Fleeting Iris" used to play at The Door in Dallas years back and we played a gig there when this awesome band named Mos Eisley played the same night after we did and I fell in love with their sound. I'm sure they don't remember me but I was so glad to have heard of them "way back when" before they were known. It is weird to look back on. Our little band fizzled out and although I still sing and play guitar, I'm not doing anything with my music anymore. But it's nice to know that some of the bands that got their start at The Door are getting noticed! I have been waiting for a band to come around that has the poetic voice and cosmic harmony as they do. Thanks for listening... DeAnne |
