Hmm, 10 days. I've got my day planned out: I might go to a few classes in the morning, and then head up to Dallas around noon. Depending on what time I get there, and how many people are in line, i'll probably stand in line for a good while. Then after the show, i'm spending the night at a friend's house in Mesquite, and leaving for Austin super early... for school. I would just take a day off... but i've already missed a handful of days for different shows here and there. So I'll need to be back at my school by 9:05. Yikes. I'm looking forward to it though. |

I read that same thing in the Observer. I hope it all gets resolved soon. It will really change the face of Deep Ellum if any of these clubs close. And, just to clarify, clubs that are in Chapter 11 are Gypsy, Trees (both clubs owned by same group), and Curtain Club. I believe Clearview is ok for now. Now, bring on Eisley!!!!! Wish I'd gotten an extra ticket now. The last two Eisley shows I bought two tickets and something seemed always came up with friends... so I ended up selling Eisley tix to ppl that needed them. |

Yeah I'm at OU right now (from Keller, TX though no worries), and I'm going to be skipping the only class I have on Tuesday which is at 3:00. We're probably going to head out around 2. It's a 2 1/2 hour drive so we'll probably get there between 4:30 and 5. I'm so excited. I've been counting down then days since I got my tickets at pre-sale. |
