Yesterday, Rice University radio played one of Eisley's lovely lullabys...
I wonder if it was a request, or if the dj (Richard) is a fan, perhaps even a member of this forum? _________________ "If those are my last words, I can do better." |

You might enjoy The New Pornographers. One of their singers, Neko Case, has a beautiful voice. When she tours solo, she's more country/americana sounding. But NP is a pop band, lots of catchiness, but more of an abrasive edge than, say, Eisley. My favorite tune by NP is The Laws Have Changed, from the album Electric Version. Check it out: http://www.matadorrecords.com/the_new_pornographers/music.html http://www.thenewpornographers.com/aud_vid.html and their song These Are The Fables is spectacularly beautiful. Go listen to that one at the above site. Go now, before you forget! !! _________________ "If those are my last words, I can do better." |

you guys in that area could help the band out a bunch by calling the station... or even that guy while he's on the air... to tell him you dug hearing Eisley. Let's him know he's not crazy or all alone in his judgement. That's the way markets open up for bands. thx for the info. boydeeboidoid _________________ EisleyWebGuy "The industrialists never saw the fruit of their own labor - Post Moderism, which I now proclaim as dead.
