Hey guys, I don't know if anyone reads the Onion here, it's this brilliantly hilarious satirical newspaper. Anyway they have an arts section called the A.V. Club and in their Best Of 2003 issue, Eisley is mentioned briefly in the context of the quasi-re-emergence of the EP as a means of making an introduction to new artists:

"But major labels and mainstream acts have been rediscovering the EP as a way of making introductions. Power-poppers Eisley and muscle-rockers The Sun have, between them, put out three well-regarded EPs without yet tracking a full-length..."

Here's the issue if you'd like to read it (Eisley's under "The Return Of The EP): http://www.theonionavclub.com/3949/feature1.html

Cool, I love The Onion A.V. Club. I hadn't seen that yet though. Thanks.

I heart The Onion. It's such a good newspaper, even if it's fake. I should know.

I've been scanning the A.V. Club in hopes that they'd mention Eisley, but I missed it. Thanks for the link. That's rad.

Eisley was also mentioned in the Onion last summer during Coldplay's tour. It just said "Eisley," nothing more, nothing less. But it's nice the Onion took notice.

And I love the Onion too. It's free for me since I live in Chicago. Haha, oddly enough, I'm wearing my "You Are Dumb." headline shirt right now.
