Has anyone by chance kept an ongoing log of Eisley's gigs since their inception? I'm asking because I am trying to remember the date of the MossEisley show I attended back in early 2002. I think it was Feb 7th or Feb 8th. I don't remember exactly. I just remember that it was close to my B-day which is Feb 6th. It was at a church in Tyler with 2 other bands. One was called Model 777. I don't remember the other one. It's not a pressing matter so don't go to too much trouble. I'm just curious to know. Thx. |

And eventually Orange Gold and Green's interactive gigography will return. Our server switch resulted in a few things slipping through the cracks. Back soon! _________________ INTELLECT AND ROMANCE OVER BRUTE FORCE AND CYNICISM Smokemonster |

So is Eisley's gigography not available online anymore? The aforementioned link isn't working and I guess www.orangegoldandgreen.com no longer exists. _________________ https://soundcloud.com/kiteswithoutstrings/tracks |

Awesome thanks....although the Tyler, TX gig I went to in early Feb 2002 is missing. Arg. I swear to God there was one, and it wasn't Brewtones. _________________ https://soundcloud.com/kiteswithoutstrings/tracks |

They did one in Tyler at a church gym with LoveBeat. Not sure what year it was. _________________ I am Torgo. I take care of the place while the Master is away. |

I think that might have been Luvbeat's first show, too? _________________ My photography:www.jamiemphoto.com You can't spell awesome without emo...backwards! -Julie definingawesome (11:44:11 PM): Eisley shivers our timbers |

Tyler, Tx June 4, 2005 The Element I found some Eisley photos you took from that date, but I didn't see any that showed the entire stage so it was hard to tell. I think Luvbeat had a light up deer head and maybe it stayed on stage. If I saw that I would be pretty certain. It probably has to be, because they really didn't play anywhere else in Tyler except Brewtones, especially by 2005. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fCwbgi288zI&feature=relmfu Maybe it was Homer Hiccolm with the deer head. _________________ I am Torgo. For me, the early 00s are a clusterfudge of travels between my hometown at the time (Houston) and then small East Texas towns like Marshall/Longview/Kilgore/Tyler. _________________ https://soundcloud.com/kiteswithoutstrings/tracks |

They used to play at Kilgore College. The Methodist college student building had a coffee place with a stage and they called it Javah Jireh. There was a pool table, a coffee bar and a little stage. If that rings a bell, that might be it. _________________ I am Torgo. I take care of the place while the Master is away. |

I don't think I ever saw them there, but I saw Uncle Andrew which had Taylor Muse who was Sherri's boyfriend for a while and in the band playing bass. Now he is in Austin doing Quiet Company. They may have also played with a band called Somerset, which became Holland. They moved to Nashville put out one album on Tooth and Nail under that name, then changed to The Lonely Hearts. I guess they are on hiatus now. _________________ I am Torgo. I take care of the place while the Master is away. |

I knew about them back when they were on Northern Records but didn't find out about the Eisley connection until much later. They seem to do pretty well out here in Austin. Didn't know Taylor was in a band called Uncle Andrew though. I did see Eisley play with Holland at Brewtones. _________________ https://soundcloud.com/kiteswithoutstrings/tracks |
