Moss put on a very fine show tonight. It was gratifying, after seeing them work their magic multiple times at small venues in Deep Ellum, to see this large crowd warm up to them over the course of their set - they seemed to provoke a MUCH bigger reaction than Ron Sexsmith, that's for sure (and his set wasn't bad either).

The coolest thing was to come down the stairs from the balcony after their set and see the band members getting mobbed down at the merch table - people grabbing stickers, snapping photos with the band, getting copies of this week's Observer signed, etc. 20 minutes later when I went back up the stairs and looked over, they were still there, and the crowd had grown larger.

I think ME won more than just a few new fans tonight...

yes it was amazing...
and taking other people's seats is good.
especially when your real seat is waaayy up in the back of the balcony...
and you end up on about the 9th row center Smile
i loved it.

The Show was worth the price paid for the tickets only because Mosseisley was playing. I wouldn't have missed it for any thing -- like Mosseisley's comgin out party. Just a hint of what's to come for them.

Way to go Moss family!
