oh I wish they would play One Day I Slowly Floated Away... so badly
no other song makes me as happy as that song when I listen to it (even though it isn't the happiest song...)
gah
please play it!!!

Tell me about it. I LOVE the harmonies they sing in that song.

As for me, they need to play every song ever made. EVER.

I would love to hear Trolley Wood. Last time I saw them open for Hot Hot Heat, I was hoping they would, but they didn't. But they did say their set got cut short... so I don't know. Meh. I just want to hear
Plenty of Paper
One Day I Slowly Floated Away
Golly Sandra
Brightly Wound
My Lovely
Just Like We Do
The Winter Song
Head Against The Sky
Mister Pine
Sea King
Laughing City

and some new songs.

Needs more "all of the above". I'd love me some Sun Feet in particular, though.

If it were up to me, I'd like to hear some of the following "oldies":

Sun Feet (which I hope might still be a contender for the rare old song to make it to a new album)
Surrounded ...
Escaping Song
Vintage People
Over the Mountains
Brightly Wound (Just because I've heard them play it maybe twice in 16 shows and I love it)

Those songs, mixed in with a ton of new ones, would be great. But they could play Telescope Eyes five different ways to pass time, and I wouldn't be terribly let down. Razz

I want to hear a hearty mix of both new and old stuff, but it would be nice to hear "Mr. Pine".

Oh, and "Lost at Sea" is a must, but REMIX-style. Congratulations...'cause springtime is almost here. Hear, hear.

i've seen them 3 times and they've never played it! it's such a lovely song.

i just want to hear stuff that's different from the norm, stuff they haven't played live before (whether it be new, obscure, or just overlooked)

i'm the same as you guys.

i'd want to hear them really work up old songs that are long gone forever, plus the best of RN's and a few new ones. I've been playing mind bets with myself as to which new ones they'll pull out of the hat. I have a good idea, but can't say. As for oldies - I'd love to hear an oldies show - Wings and Windows, Lullaby, the 4th song, Over the Mountains (but with the old synth), Lady of the Wood (with the Wurly) Dream for Me, Blackened Crown, etc. But this can only happen in my dreams... so, to be realistic, I... i'm bored with my thread. Ya'lls are good.

I'd be happy with a mix of old, present, and new-- that was kind of how Buzz Oven was and it was siccccck! Good times, good times.

But I think I would just be so amped if they played Blackened Crown, Sleepy Head, They All Surrounded Me, Lullaby (that would be very beautiful to hear in person), or Laughing City. Ah, that would be so awesome just to hear one of those songs live.

I'd also love to hear some of their new songs as well! The way Boyd talks about them makes me excited to hear some of those lovely tunes.

I cannot wait for May 6!

There are a few old ones I'd love to hear and a few of the present ones and of course I'd love to hear some new stuff!

In particular, I'd love to hear Blackened Crown, Lullaby, Mister Pine, and the Escaping Song. Of the "present ones" I'd love to hear Marvelous Things, I Wasn't Prepared, Golly Sandra, and Just Like We Do. And of course, any new stuff! I'm soooo excited about these little snippets of hype on the new songs Boyd has been handing out. I can't wait!

I wish they'd come to the UK.

I'd like Room Noises & New Songs.

Shocked I want to hear Wings and Windows!!

As for me, I would like to hear what the new songs sound like. And I would love it if they would play Blackened Crown, One Day I Slowly Floated Away, Over the Mountains, and Vintage People. But any Eisley song is good!
