It's harder to tell beacuse the guitars are swallowed by camera-noise, and beacuse it hasn't even been 24 hours since anyone not in Australia has heard this song, but I'm liking it. It'll take a little time for me to swish it around my mouth, and to just ponder it and let it settle in. But I hear a good song. I don't quite know where it fits into the Eisley universe, but it takes more than ONE FREAKING DAY to figure that out in most cases. I can't wait to hear the other new tracks. I should know by the fourth listen. _________________ My photography:www.jamiemphoto.com You can't spell awesome without emo...backwards! -Julie definingawesome (11:44:11 PM): Eisley shivers our timbers |

I really do love this song... It's different and that's probably why I love it, but then it's not extremely different either because it still holds that Eisley-ness about it. To me, it's like crashing Dream for Me, Over the Mountains (more so for it's not in a hurry attitude), Head Against the Sky, and Becoming You together with growth and maturity to make Like the Actors. I love it! I think it's seriously awesome and I can't wait to see it performed live if they decide to play it in Dallas. I'm definitely amped about the next album! _________________ "I cannot discuss your verses; for any attempt at criticism would be foreign to me. This makes me more excited for the new album than you can possibly imagine. This mellow vibe, the funkish beat and spacy guitars, complement Stacy and Sherri's voices better than most "hard" Eisley songs, in my opinion. I know the whole album won't be like this (it's Eisley, after all, and they manage to consistently have the widest variety possible), but if it were I'd be perfectly content. _________________ INTELLECT AND ROMANCE OVER BRUTE FORCE AND CYNICISM Smokemonster |

This is what I can make from the lyrics from the earlier post...most of it was right but I tweaked a few things Does this apply in the making of a movie? ...cause I've got my place to share with the world. Sharing and sharing all day long. The content was explicit; I don't know what was with it. I played it down and down. We fall down like the actor shot in the chest. When you were young you thought you were so ugly, and you wouldn't attend the costume party But you feel so tired you feel so lonely; you tried to take your heart out of vanity. Down and down. We fall down like the actor shot. Down and down. We fall down like the actor shot in the chest. ooh, we're all the same, and all we want is a good bit of fame. Isn't so insane? Oh we fall down our morals do the same. Down and down. You love me not the actors view of me Down and down. Will you love me not the actors view of me? This song really is a slow burn, I like it a LOT! It's interesting to see more of Eisley's view of the world, to have them writing a song that's more opinionated or a social commentary...something that's both very cool and pretty lacking in their earlier material... |

So different. So eisley. I love it. The drums were a surprise, but its great. I can't wait to hear this song, along with others without any distortion of being at a venue. I can definately see hit potential with this song, but what do i know, i think all eisley songs are hit potential. anyways, i love it. i'm glad they decided to post this. thanksssssss eisley!! ahhasdhfdskljd;gdjlksjkl;sjsdijfledk _________________ www.allisongill.net www.myspace.com/silverbugs www.last.fm/users/allisoncostello www.imahuman.tumblr.com www.isitreallysostrange.wordpress.com [i spend too much time on the internet, apparently.]

I loved the song. Stacy's voice just keeps on maturing every time I hear her! Weston's drums are super as well. I'm glad people took the time to post the lyrics, because I was having a hard time hearing them. Oh, and I have a couple of corrections to the lyrics. Instead of "I've got my place to share with the world," I believe the word is 'play' and not 'place,' as it would make more sense with the acting thing. And it's "Isn't it so insane." But everything else was spot on when I listened. _________________ - Jessica ------------------------------------------------------- "So many bands are like painters standing in front of their paintings going, 'Look at me, I did this.' It is my "place" to share with the world.... Either one would sound good, but it is "place". Oh okay. Thanks for clearing that up, Kim! _________________ - Jessica ------------------------------------------------------- "So many bands are like painters standing in front of their paintings going, 'Look at me, I did this.'
