To Eisley (ALL of the Duprees and crew) Alright well I know similar threads have been developed, but I know you can never thank some one enough. I'm sure I speak for most everyone when I say thank you to Eisley for all the effort and work you've put into the latest tour. Congratulations on wrapping it up and getting a much needed break back at Tyler although I know it's short-lived. The numbers speak for themselves. As Boyd posted, the band traveled 16,275 miles for this tour. I just wanted to let the band know that every mile and every show was much appreciated. I know bands are trying to make a living off doing this, but they're really in it for their fans. My girlfriend and I first fell under the Eisley spell at Coldplay's concert near Dallas, and we've been huge fans ever since. Every show we've been to since just keeps getting better and better (not that the previous shows weren't amazing). So thanks Eisley for the dedication to your fans, for all the hard work you put into your music, taking the little free time you have to keep us up to date with your journals and for all the new memories you gave us this tour. |

i feel like a stranger here. but i just wanted to respond... we're all dedicated, yep... but it's more about purpose. somehow, it's the only thing we know to do... not like we're trying to make it happen or am following some disciplined methodology. It's like an inner compass, but mostly - we don't know what the heck we're doing and are so tired, we don't know how it's all happening. And i should say - you guys are a big part it all. You're giving this little artsy operation the fuel to keep going. Without you, all of this would be a fizzled story in last year's rock magazines. The band would keep writing, but if you guys hadn't kept coming to shows and blogging here and spreading the love, it would be really, really difficult to convince anyone on the business side that Eisley was viable. So... give yourselves a hug from us. DO IT!! bd _________________ EisleyWebGuy "The industrialists never saw the fruit of their own labor - Post Moderism, which I now proclaim as dead. DO IT!! bd it's that way for the fans, too. it's not a conscious effort to love the band and the music, it just happens. and coming here and discussing it and sharing the love we have is just something that comes naturally. so both sides are just doing what feels right, and it's created a whole lot of success. |

They're unlike any other music out there today. Their music is almost too beautiful. Actually, come to think of it, it is too beautiful. You can't help but be in a great mood when you're listening to Eisley. My online radio station. http://music.yahoo.com/launchcast/station.asp?u=1557637143 |

Indeed, thanks for driving long hours around the country, getting sick and uncomfortable, and generally being dragged away from home just to come entertain us malfeasants. _________________ Audioscrobbler Now
