that Eisley can calm you down/relax you immediately. Maybe its just me, but I swear I can be in the most terrible mood, I could be crying out of sadness or anger, I could be mad with rage ready to bounce on anyone, but if I can convince myself to forget about it for just a second and turn on Eisley - I'll be calm/content within seconds. Their voices are just soothing and its not like some bands where they're writing about death or suicide or heartbreak, but when you're listening to the words, the songs are about make believe, where you're in some kind of perfect world, and not the one you're angry at. I swear if it ever was possible to do this, if someone ever did some kind of scientific study on Eisley - and what kinds of effects their music has on people, if would be proven that it really calms and relaxs people and puts them into a better state of mind. I'm not sure why I'm saying this though, I'm sure everyone on here already knows this since you all listen to Eisley and its easy to tell that their music makes everyone happy. This is just a silly observation of mine. I just thought I'd post it. |

well, when I'm stressed I turn to Deja Entendu (Brand New) and that usually helps me out. Makes me feel 18 and depressed again. Wow has it been that long? it really has. I'm a grownup now. And then I feel better. it's weird but it works for me _________________ guitarfreak217 wrote: Everyone, listen to Leigh. She knows what's up. theantrider wrote: My jaw hurts and I have an ulcer. it's weird but it works for me man alive! I tried listening to that album today. But I figured I have approx 3/4 of the lyrics from Your Favorite Weapon in my head, and I only got it at the start of the month. That's fast. I like the album more, so I put it back on! Eisley. Yeah, they've helpled me through some bad moments in my life. when I'm talking to someone on the phone I usually put them on. Especially when before I phone what I know will be a tough phone call. _________________ She is handsome, she is pretty, she is the girl from Belfast City, she is courtin' one two three, please won't you tell me who is she? I also believe Eisley relieves stress. I usually put on Room Noises on my way to school before tests or after a rough day. Cant say Im much of a Brand New fan though, sorry. _________________ (\__/) (='.'=) (")_(") This is Bunny. I can agree that Eisley is a good stress relief. But it does not always calm me. As a matter of fact, I just listened to some Eisley a minute ago and now I'm hyper. I'm ready to shove a bunch of bottles of fast food workers into a tiny leg of a chair, so I can look at the sky with a pair of lemons and laugh at the rather large mouse in your hair. |

I was saying that your statement (I'm ready to shove a bunch of bottles of fast food workers into a tiny leg of a chair, so I can look at the sky with a pair of lemons and laugh at the rather large mouse in your hair) reminds me of staring at a 3D picture after hitting a bong all day (something I haven't done in a couple decades). |
