Which album is better? Deja or Your Favorite Weapon?

I prefer Your Favorite Weapon. There's something more upbeat about it. ALthough the lyrics are far more depressing, it's easier to sing along at the top of your voice when your doing something that doesn't need much concentration. There seems to be alot more toonage!

I love them both a lot, but I think I'd have to go with Deja. They're both completely different sounds though, its hard to choose.

Deja Entendu, hands down.

When I first listened to Your Favorite Weapon, that sound was the type of stuff I liked at the time. Like the pop-punkish type sound. By the time Deja Entendu was released, I had already moved on to listening to that type of sound more. I guess that has to do with it.

I'm not saying I don't like Your Favorite Weapon, but I think Deja Entendu has more of a mature sound. Does that make sense? Both are good albums, I just prefer Deja Entendu over YFW.

Deja for sure. It's pretty much the only album I listen to without skipping tracks. (Besides Eisley of course)

Deja is way better. I bought YFW when I couldn't find Deja anywhere in Springfield, and I was almost turned off of Brand New forever because of it. Fortunately I downloaded Deja Entendu later and it was the soundtrack of my summer. It's a darn near perfect album.

GO US YFW FANS.

yeah I know there's just 3 of us, but I gotta stick with the underdog.

even though I dont.

but I still really like YFW because I can never get sick of 9 of its songs.

on DE, I'm not sick of 6 of its songs.

I know it's a poor way to judge, but I LOOOOVE tracks: 1,2,... well

all of them. Laughing
