Just got back from seeing Eisley at London Astoria- they absolutely rocked!!

That's pretty much all I had to say, that and wow Very Happy

What did everyone else who was there think? My Dad and wife both agreed that they were excellent.

Hope you UK Laughing Citizens are all enjoying Eisley being here as much as I did tonight Smile

Love Helen xx

It's 11:10 at night here. Nearly time for bed- I'm getting up early to go on my honeymoon tomorrow (postponed it for a day so that I could go see them!)

They really were amazing. The crowd seemed pretty into them from what I could see- saw some tapping along and they got quite a bit of applause. I couldn't see anyone else singing along as crazily as me though :p

I'd say you should be proud but I know you already are. Your kids (and nephew) are super talented!!

Love Helen xx

Just got back, and really enjoyed the gig! It seemed like there were a few sound problems on the first song, but they resolved them pretty quickly and the rest of the set rocked Cool Head Against the Sky was especially brilliant, and I really liked Invasion and Taking Control, not having heard either of them before tonight. The set list was:

Mr Pine
Marvelous Things
Memories
Taking Control
Golly Sandra
Head Against the Sky
Invasion

To be honest a lot of the crowd didn't really seem into it, but there were definitely a fair few clapping and cheering. I was right in front of Chauntelle (well, a couple of people back) which was awesome Very Happy

Did many other laughing citizens make it along? I didn't spot any Eisley shirts, but then again I wasn't wearing one either!

I was at the front for the entire gig and me and my friends were singing really loud to all of it.

I also managed to befriend Garron earlier in the day so he got me a setlist and also got my friend Leila that picture that Adam drew for Weston.

One of the best gigs and meeting Eisley was the highlight.

I owe Garron like a million hugs for being so nicw to us.

Glad you guys across the pond are having fun. I love that Eisley afterglow. Right before the withdrawal symptoms start kicking in.

sounded marvelous. you lucky people in the UK always seem to have an awesome time over there, even when it's raining.

the crowd in london was a lot more accepting of eisley, and less rowdy than the crowd in birmingham...even boyd agreed with me on that. i thought the overall performances of all three bands were better too. i also think this was the crowd's influence.

sherri looked like her arm still hurt though. i hope it is ok!

i bought the green tee today (having bought the red one on saturday..and got it signed...so now i have one i can wear..Very Happy )

eisley, your performances were grand both days.
opening with mr pine, the song which i remember best from V2003...wow..and head against the sky too...awesome. lovely.

at the birmingham show on saturday, around the beginning of mr pine, the first song, she caught her right arm on her guitar. i think she scratched it or something. but i noticed her frowning at it today too...so i guess it still hurt a little.
but hey, she is human afterall! she'll heal. she still played some bangin' tunes.
