These are my photographs... (sorry that they are so big)
Again, sorry for the size. I didn't slap my name over the front of their faces or anything, because i didn't think the photographs should be spoiled. But, saying that... please don't steal them. Although, i'm not sure what you could use them for... P.S - their performance was amazing. Words cannot describe. There is just something about them... I don't know. Thanks to Eisley for being so nice to myself and my friend. Glad we could help you guys find food. What did everyone else think... [Edit]: So, they are not that big. Strange. also, i took around 50+ photographs and these were the only ones worth showing. I am not good with a camera, and I still don't know exactly how to use mine. Also, they are all of basically the same thing. haha[/edit] (that edit thing was a joke) _________________ The Barents Sea |

I wasn't at this show but I just had to comment! Thanks for sharing those pictures, they look great. I'm thinking we should make an official "UK Eisley Experience" thread where everyone posts all their pictures of the UK tour or whatever. Anyway glad to hear you had a great time, thanks again for sharing; they are awesome pictures! _________________

gundamit wrote: Nice pics. Did the venue use a fog machine? I'd hate to think there were that many smokers in the crowd. I believe they may have used a fog machine? there was also alot of body heat and people dancing around causing sweat, causing fog to come from their bodies... yeah, i know. BUT, people were smoking in the crowd, even though it's illegal to smoke inside a public building now, in Scotland. Fory wrote: Wow you were onstage, but yea the band were amazing, as are the photos. Excellent show, mine should be up during the week...and i was thinking of starting this thread, great minds and all that haha, yeah - great minds! get your photos up soon! _________________ The Barents Sea |

Glasgow was goooood. Eisley's performance was better than Newcastle, although they were both awesome! Although I think the Newcastle Carling Academy is better than Glasgow Barrowlands... Barrowlands is sort of built to have awful sound, with that curved ceiling and all. But I was right down at the front last night. Which was amazing. I love this band so much. nathan _________________ "nathaniel" www.purevolume.com/GORADIO www.myspace.com/GORADIO www.myspace.com/natesmith |

nathan I, too, am not a fan of the Barrowlands. Some bands sound terrible there (bands with heavy distortion... fall out boy, taking back sunday) but some bands sound beautiful (eisley, death cab...) _________________ The Barents Sea |

Since this is the official Glasgow thread
Before the band played. It looked like there was a problem with the keys or something.
I was on the "Sherri Side"
The result of super-duper zooming and rubbish lighting.
Looks like she's trying not to laugh or smile at something here I think.
And ... thats that. Lots more photos not worth posting really. My friend was in the first aid bit (just a bleeding nose) and the band just kind of walked past me, being a good friend and shy times a billion I didnt tear after them in a maniac fan fashion. I did however scream Boyds name after the show as everyone was leaving and shouted "You guys are great!" Im pretty sure he just heard his name and had no idea what I said but he smiled, waved and said bye anyway. haha. I also spilt a fellow forum-ers drink. oops times 2 |

See i really like the Barrowlands...has a sorta horrible niceness to it...really trashy but it suits, seen many bands there and generally never heard any sound problems, though Taking Back Sunday did sound little worse than Eisley, but that could be down to performance surely... _________________ Last 5 Plays:

Fory I wasn't starting the chant but I sure saw it ! I just wish I had the guts to join in really. Yeah the band just bopping on and off stage amused me I was like OOH. I think I snapped a picture of Weston just sitting beside his drums for a bit, he looked kinda lost at first I thought. I agree with you on liking the Barrowlands. Perhaps its more the history of the venue that makes me love it so but I always have a good time there. I love how parts of the ceiling look like they're gonna fall on you for some reason |

Next time your in the barrowlands look up at the ceiling at the fans...a seriously disgusting sight... Oh, no-one has brought up Sherri and Stacy talking about Irn-Bru (pronounced Iron Brew) their pronunciation of it was close, but they're forgiven. It is a great drink though. _________________ Last 5 Plays:

was it two girls that started the chant. if so ... could have been me and my sister. was an awesome show!! i hardly got any good pictures. i was infront of chauntelle. when we chanted she saw us and smiled and was like "hiii" cause we met her before the gig. AWESOME the bit in the journal about a girl going up to chauntelle was my mate. she was totally blown away by them... and had too much to drink. so it was funny. |
