all the old songs should be hoarded, and released on one gigantic (well, not really) b-sides record. i like the itunes things, but most of them are live tracks, and i'd love to have a nice official hard copy. completely agree! |

The second they become established, all the great stuff on Orange, Green & Gold can come out on a release like REM's Eponymous. Well, without the Aerosmith covers, but you get the idea. Random odds & ends that slipped through the cracks. Or make it a bonus disc in the main release, like the Dandy Warhols did with 13 Tales From Urban Bohemia. They had the release CD & a second CD with random live recordings. |

hm... i posted this big long thing about how i'd love new songs, but im addicted to TES, and my itunes playcount as of *november* is 98...but it looks like it didnt go through But, whatever. I'm 14 years old. My biggest concerns in life are people that fascinate me (eg, stacy and her beautiful voice) and taking pictures of myself. boyd, for the record, you're the coolest thing since...um...starbucks? tried to thing of something more original that "sliced bread", and i looooooove my coffee, so coming from me, thats a ginormous compliment! |

I definitely think new songs for the new record is the way to go. I love the old songs. But I'm so curious to hear the new ones. I think it would be better if you released another ep with some music, rather than the iTunes only songs. Because I am the kind of person who likes hard copies of cds. Not just mp3 files. I live the album artwork and all that good stuff. Wow, this new website sounds grand. _________________ - Jessica ------------------------------------------------------- "So many bands are like painters standing in front of their paintings going, 'Look at me, I did this.' The songs you mentioned here have all been recorded. I'll try to put a bug in the label's ear to see if we might consider any more digital releases between now and the next record. I think it depends on if any of them become candidates for the next record... i doubt they will, but... you never know. They're still writing and tweaking. January is coming so soon...i don't see how they can finish in time to begin so quickly... I guess we'll just have to wait and see. boyd Sorry for bringing this 6 month old thread back, but this was the most exciting news I've read in a long time (about a new website with tons of songs and videos). Is this still going to happen? I mean... a new website? I just got used to this one _________________ I know how I was born and I know that I have no choice. I think I only realized there were two versions (well that are available to us). It's interesting how different the solo one is to the one with the full instruments. And the added "machines" intro. Either way its a neat song. |

No one answered my question ...Are we still getting a new website with archives of live videos and unreleased songs when the new album comes out? _________________ I know how I was born and I know that I have no choice.
