 Post subject: 7 hours later...(EDIT 2: yay, borrowed a camera! :D)Posted: Sat Jul 08, 2006 7:57 am 
EDIT: I realized as i looked at my post that the dimensions are slightly off. long story short, its better now!! EDIT 2: ha, yes. i finally borrowed my moms camera and took a picture. slight amounts of justice are served. theres this. not an exact likeness, but i'd like to think it's pretty close. 
the scanner made it tinted... the picture i used is

that's excellent. the only thing that's a little off is the eyes are a bit big. the best way to remember it is each eye should be 1/5 of the width of the face, the same width as the base of the nose. i found that out several years ago and my drawing has much improved since, i think. the shading is also excellent around the nose and mouth, though you might want to smudge the edges of the shading (especially around the eyes) a bit to soften it, it's quite harsh. but seriously well done. i think one of the closest likenesses i've seen of her so far. i'm terrible at getting a good likeness of people. _________________ "dial" in Welsh means "revenge". If a welsh speaker enters an English phone booth, having paid the coin/phone card the next command the l.e.d screen throws at the customer is "revenge!" thus setting the tone for a confrontational conversation.
