I know that many people are affected by weather.
I tend to be one.
This summer, it was soooooo hot in Texas, that I really felt apathetic about lots of things, for most of the summer.
Now, it's a bit cooler, but it's been cloudy and drizzly, and it feels like my head is cloudy.

How many of you are affected by weather, and what do you do to get out of a "mood"? Mad
Also, how many of you that are affected, consider yourself to be the creative type? Right brainer, as oppose to being a left brainer?

BTW....I try to force myself to do something that I really don't want to do, that I know needs to be done, then I feel better after doing it, or at least attempting to finish something. Also, if I put on music that I like, it helps me.

Today was perfect mid 60's with a breeze...Smelled like fall and got to wear a jacket. Everything around me was going wrong with class and things outside of school, but I was in the best mood all day. If it would have been like last week in the 90's, I might of attacked someone.

i just get really down when its overcast or cold, and it just makes me grumpy and not very friendly, also screws up my sleep patterns quite a lot coz of me not wanting to be very active so end up sleep loads. i get around it by forcing myself to go and be around people so that i dont lock myself away... playin sports or just havin a nice walk normally helps.

gets really bad during the winter, where sometimes i can just act like a different person for days at a time Sad

The only element of weather that affects me is the rain. I usually feel really good on rainy days.

i'm so affected sometimes. be it the weather, season, place, or even the people that surround me. i of course don't want to be and i'm working on it, but sometimes all the things you find bothersome really catch up with you. it's been raining a lot lately, and i love that grayish weather..i think better, and i do feel more creative, but enough is enough..i feel much happier a person on cool(er) sunny days like the one's we're having now up here in the n. east, where i can go outside and just..live.

When I was younger, I was sick from school on a rainy day, and my mother took me to the store and bought me some sort of lego toy. Ever since that day, I've always liked rainy, cloudy days.

(Right-brained-Left-handed)

I always get into a really great mood when the weather is cloudy/grey/cool/rainious.

The weather here changes so much I've learned to adjust. The weather can strengthen my mood. If I'm down and the weather is gloomy, it seems worse. It doesn't really have an influence though.

Rain makes me happy. When it's really cold and sunny outside, I'm very overjoyed until about 12 noon.

Strange, right?

I feel happy when it's sunny, but cool out... low 70's. Humidity makes me feel sluggish. Sometimes the rain makes me feel that way too, like when it's dark in the morning, I just want to stay in bed all day.

it's pronounced "chasdew"

i have a real sensitivity torwards sunlight. When it's overcast i'm much more suseptable to depression. It's weird cause i don't have to have the sunlight on me or even see it.. i just have to know it's sunny. 2 or 3 days in a row of overcast makes me pretty miserable to be around, I start making fun of leighsh even more then usual :-/

I would definitely say that weather affects my mood. I feel so good when I'm outside and I'm comfortable with the weather.

I thought it said "are your mods affected by the weather" and I was like, "hey, we're people, too!" Laughing

I get angry/iritable in the heat. (Which is not a good thing living in FL, but I guess that's why I stay indoors more... until winter anyway)
