They're ok. Well, Kim is still dingy... dizzy, jostled, banged, hurting a bit... and stuff. Some big fat truck skidded 25 feet before piling into the back of the van - pushing it forward it's entire length. Danged drizzly, wet, oily, roads... uhh, SLOW DOWN!

They were just sitting at a traffic light. We only have headrests in the front bucket seats... u know, they're nice and tall but but back benches have NOTHING. Heads would have flopped and jerked. Sherri, Stacy and the rest almost went; At the last minute they decided they just wanted to clean their room and laze' around the house. In 4 minutes, Weston called me. Sherri and Stacy would have been in the very back and likely cracked their skulls on the back glass where the impact was. I'm very, very thankful they didn't go. Yikes. Now it makes me think about what we need to make that van safer.

Gonna watch Kim and get her to her doctor for a check up... keep records, make sure there isn't any damage. She's acting kinda weird. Her blood pressure shot up at the scene... a nurse, who saw the accident went over to her immediately. When i got there, she was still sorta dispondent and said her arms and legs felt like rubber. I mean, when your body gets a slam like that... it's gonna move your brain like jello... and jolt your frame, neck and muscles into a flailing klankus of yammer. You're gonna hurt, even if you aren't technically injured.

Anyway, people get in fender benders every day. I'm not trying to make it into some big deal just because it was our fam'. I just thought it was newsworthy and... I'm thankful that nobody was seriously hurt. Ya'll be careful out there on the wet roads. Watch out for the other guy and allow plenty of time to stop. luv, boydoid

I was almost in a wreck on my way home today...wet roads are not good.

Glad to hear Kim and Weston are good and that Sherri, Stacy, and the rest don't have cracked skulls.

Oh wow. I'm glad it wasn't worse than it was. I hope Kim feelsl better soon (and Weston too, if he's hurt).

What I think is safer than that van is a tour bus. It seriously needs to happen for tours ...

Ow.

I've never been in a serious accident, but some of my friends were, and I know even just the whiplash can do a lot of damage. So it's good to see they aren't seriously hurt.

I'm glad they are okay. You know, the car can be replaced -- but not Kim or Weston. I understand the shock they must've been in. Two weeks ago I was in an accident where a guy smashed the right side of my car -- needless to say, he's paying for all the damage (on my 06 BMW) and his insurance is going to shoot up insanely, but as long as everyone was okay.
But anyway...
Keep us posted on how Kim's doing. I hope she feels better.

Like everyone else said, thank goodness it wasn't worse than it was and that only those two went. I hope Kim is okay in the long run.

A few months ago, I got rear ended at a stop light and then got pushed into the car in front of me. It's a shock and can cause soreness for a couple days, but again, I hope that's all it is with her too.

Being in any accident is just miserable. I'm gald to hear no one was seriously hurt. Get plenty of rest (Kim- milk it and maybe someone will make you cookies!) and feel better.
