First of all, this is my very first post on the Eisley forum (yay!)
Anyways, the following is a recap of all the things that happened to me on the day I registered. All of the events are true.
-Wake up to go to class, take a shower with freezing cold water because the water pipe thing broke.
-Walk outside to my car and slip on the ice, falling on my back (yes, there were witnesses). Embarassed
-My car won't start up, because the gas froze overnight.
-End up missing all my classes.
-Take a tylenol for the pain in my back, but end up chewing the tablet instead of swallowing it because I thought it was something else. (now that was disgusting)
-REGISTER ON THE EISLEY FORUM
- My girlfriend breaks up with me because she wants to see other people. (which probably means she's been cheating on me for a while and just now has the ...guts to tell me)
-Hit the numbers for Powerball!! ...for yesterday's winning number. Rolling Eyes

So yeah, I had a bunch of fun. About the only good thing that happened was that I finally found out where the forum was (for some reason the link from the homepage wasn't taking me to it).
So anyways I'm here, hello to everyone on the forum, and I can't wait for Eisley to come and play in RI so I can see them live.

Just for enduring such an unpleasant day, if you will "PM" me your size and address, I will send you and EISLEY t shirt.

NOW THAT DOESN'T MEAN THAT THE REST OF YOU CAN DO THE SAME THING Wink

Wait a minute... gas can freeze inside your car?!

Don't yell at me... I'm from coastal Texas. Nothing freezes here.

Derek,

(stabs heart) sorry. But posting on eisley's forum was the bright spot in
your day... and, other good stuff will happen. Like, maybe you'll meet
some amazing eisley fan...a total babe; and everything will begin to
make sense.

I'm going to dedicate the Lost at Sea song to you... very fitting.
I wet'n'd up the vocals to give it some much needed ambiance...

http://www.eisley.com/test/LostatSeawet.mov

Standard disclaimer: The song is not really a recording... it should never
be out there floating around. It's recorded at home on a cassette player
as an idea... to send to Warner Bros. and a slu of producers... OK? I'm
just crazy..that's all. I just like it so... who cares. Sing harmonies to it until
Stacy's part is added on the real recording...and the video is totally
just brain spew...thrown down with little tweaking. I don't like it anymore
and will soon redo the entire thing...leaving the best parts.

Welcome.

boyd
