Unless something crazy comes up, I don't see it happening. There are no plans as far as I know. However, they will likely have a single (this is just a guess based on the normal patterns of putting out an album), probably with some interesting B-side material. That is nice to look forward to. _________________ My photography:www.jamiemphoto.com You can't spell awesome without emo...backwards! -Julie definingawesome (11:44:11 PM): Eisley shivers our timbers |

The "Head Against The Sky" EP and the Eisley portion of the "Final Noise" EP were basically singles anyway... I think an iTunes only release would be more feasible after the album is released. _________________ INTELLECT AND ROMANCE OVER BRUTE FORCE AND CYNICISM Smokemonster |

'iTunes only' is crap, I want a CD copy of everything on there so when my computer totally sabotages me I won't have to spend all that money AGAIN. (Plus, having a huge stack of CD cases just looks more impressive) _________________ ...the language confuses like computers refuse to understand how I'm feeling today... I know pretty much everyone has an ipod or other MP3, as do I, but it is nice to have the CD. |

Only thing, it seems like the "single" is pretty obsolete, at least in the U.S. Good luck finding a place that sells them and if you do, good luck finding the song you want. I'm usually anti-iTunes but for this purpose, it's more plausible people will buy it. I'm sure we will be one of the first to know once things are finalized, but I would bet on SOMETHING being available a month or so before the official release |

Keeping backups is good sense anyway. _________________ INTELLECT AND ROMANCE OVER BRUTE FORCE AND CYNICISM Smokemonster |

Also, I hear the Apple people are pretty good at giving one free backup of purchased tunes in case something goes wrong. _________________ My photography:www.jamiemphoto.com You can't spell awesome without emo...backwards! -Julie definingawesome (11:44:11 PM): Eisley shivers our timbers |

My understanding is that with iTunes exclusive stuff, it generally is stuff that would not be released in any form if it weren't released on iTunes. It is way cheaper to put out an iTunes release than a normal one. Someone correct me if that isn't right. -Mark |

However, most labels are trying to get the same royalties for iTunes downloads that they would for physical purchases, so artists end up getting the same amount of money. _________________ INTELLECT AND ROMANCE OVER BRUTE FORCE AND CYNICISM Smokemonster |
