Thought everyone would want to know they can hear MossEisley in concert Saturday, February 22, at the Revelation Rooom in Canton, TX This could be one of the few times left to see a Moss show for $5.00 - also playing will be Headfire, Fallback, and Star Motel. Concert starts at 8 p.m. MossEisley will play last in the lineup. www.revelationroom.com for more info. |

It's only about an hour from Dallas - due east on i20...take the canton Exit, turn right on whatever road that is...go past the lights to....uh...I don't know, bufford, help me here. All I know is we're gonna have fun. That's all I care about. And, I want to drink free Frappuccino's. Mr. Ellis will hook me up. And we'll sweat like pigs even though the AC works good because when we pack in there, we will be like little piggies before the moss-slaughter. If Andrew comes, well...he can save us. Anyway....what a whem....Kim just up and booked this. I think she was afraid we would never get to go back...it's our favorite little strip center all age joint...and the owners are our bestest...and sad we are, but the big mean booking agents will put an end to all this. _________________ EisleyWebGuy "The industrialists never saw the fruit of their own labor - Post Moderism, which I now proclaim as dead. forget the booking agents man.. if they don't want you to play there, that's when you book a show there when you have a weekend off and play under some other name, like the towheads or something.. that would rock. Go east on I-20, exit at HWY 19. turn right on 19, go a couple miles, when you pass the intersection at HWY 243 it is on the right.. right across from Sonic. |

I'm currently considering driving up from Freeport (about an hour south of Houston) just to see MossEisley this weekend. Tough decision. Why I want to: I want to see the band again, and it would be nice to do so in such a small venue (the only time I've seen them was at the Verizon Wireless Theater in Houston). Besides, who knows when I'll get to see them again. Why I don't: I'd be at it alone... it's a long drive... and my weekends are so valuable to me since I tend to get a good deal of paperwork done. But I already sacrifice so much of my personal life for my job. I need to get out of this town and do something fun for a change! (And spring break isn't for a few more weeks.) We shall see. Any advice? _________________ "If you're a ninja, every day is like friday." -Jamie M. |

Ok, I guess I read Canton as Carrolton. Well geez, this kind of puts a spin on things, Canton is almost 2 hours from here. But I MUST see Moss Eisley again! I may just dig into the check book and pull out some gas money (It's enough Im driving to Ft.Worth to record, then to Dallas on Sunday to see Interpol since Im on the guestlist). WHY MUST I BE JOBLESS NOW! money is horrible people, vote for fluffy puppy dogs and kittens. _________________ "Im so caught up in the tree of stars Falling in my backyard." |

rmlawrence - that's so freakin' far....we lived in Houston and I know that drive - but, all the way to Canton? If you did come, you should bring someone with you and make it a road trip. But you'd get spilled out into somewhere in North East Texas at midnight at the earliest. manoman. Anybody got ideas? woah. hmmmm.... maybe we should figure out a way to get shows in Houston. Even from Ft. Worth - I feel guilty - all you cool people driving so far. We'll be in Dallas again so don't push it..the Interpol show is more important. Moss at a little indie club? nahhh.... bd _________________ EisleyWebGuy "The industrialists never saw the fruit of their own labor - Post Moderism, which I now proclaim as dead. I wonder if anyone can help me out on this one, I heard a little rumor that Moss might come here to Waco, TX to play at Cafe' Liso. Is there any truth to this? and if so anyone who comes to the show is more than welcome to crash at my place, just bring pillows and blankets. -John _________________ -John Autumn of the Fall |
