Hey, this whole thread really caught my attention. I usually just read people's posts, and post once in a green moon, but I was blown away at how this whole thing was handled. I need to meet you all in real life Honestly, I've never seen anything resolved with such grace! Made my day. You should try to write a song about feeling like you've lost a part of yourself by giving too much to someone you love. Not getting your heart broken. Maybe feeling underappreciated. I don't know. You could try the Led Zeppelin approach and write a Lemon Song. Hmmmmm. _________________ I climbed up heavenly falls Down whitewater walls I was buried alive And I stole the day My patience keeps me sane As I make parachutes from clay I’m almost there My lonely heart I’m almost there |

Wow! I'm gone for a few hours and a bomb goes off, and the bomb squad has already come in and cleaned up! Amazing. Just my thoughts on all of the above, (except the song writing, of which I have no skills). I don't know why this kind of thing tends to happen over and over again. To you seasoned boardies, think of it like this: If you are in an art galary and you come across say...The Lady of Shalot painting, (my personal favorite You are struck deep by it's beauty. Something inside you is stirred to adoration. Then, other's crowd around, and you all feel the same way, and begin to express it to each other. So, you hang there for a while, and you begin to talk about different parts of the painting, and how each section was handled, or just how your day went, etc.... But, after a while, you forget how YOU were overwhelmed by it's beauty, and how that first moment felt. So, when a new person walks into the gallary and has the reaction that you did, is it right to deny them that feeling? To make fun of them? To make them feel stupid? I personally experience a feeling of joy, when a new person expresses their heartfelt thoughts of EISLEY. Wheter it is in reference to the physical, or the music. I did go through and edit some of the lanquage. It's not like any of the words really hurt anyone, we just try to use better vocabulary words to express whatever we are expressing, so as not to run people off with offensive words. But, to be honest, I can't ever understand the synical responses to new members that are posting their thoughts on a band they have just discovered. EISLEY members ARE easy on the eyes, but they are way deeper than that, and if people are not run off from the beginning, hopefully, other aspects of the band becomes known, and appreciated too. We love all of you, and to autumnsXmonologue...I hope your night got better Welcome to the EISLEY board. k |

Oh, Kim. That was like the calm after the storm... or is it the calm before the storm? Eh... either way. It was really nice. _________________ "Anthony! C-Caw!" Does it really matter whether I put the toilet seat down or not? |
