My favorite part of the lyrics are when she says

Oh my love we could live on the sun...wouldnt we be attractive
riding in our shiny motor cars with eyeglasses full of stars
and plenty of paper for scenery painting

I love you, Jamie... in a brotherly sort of way, that is. Just so everybody knows!

Ahh, This is my favorite song on the album. It's just so catchy, and I am SO glad they didn't cut the organ. That beginning is amazing.

The bass in the song remind me of like ancient egyptian music mixed with 80s rockpop dance music.

I always picture how I'd make this music video look, and no matter what I picture it always seems to just be awesome and I wish this would.. possibly.. be a future single. Especially seeming as it's a bit of a mix of genres so more people might get into them by it. It's sort of like Telescope Eyes, by remaining soft but hard but catchy and it gives everyone a good impression of what the other songs on the album are like....

Rockpop dance can be a genre if I say so.......

I think I heard this song at the last show I went to...

But, bless me, I can't remember how it goes at all now.
But I do remember thinking "this is my new favorite song now".
So it has to be wonderful.

the band definitely made the right choice in keeping the organ.

Yeah, "Plenty Of Paper" is the best Smiths song never written by Stephen Morrissey and Johnny Marr.

Seriously, you didn't even mention the part about her sticking it to her hair; how irresponsible. Razz

When I listen to the song I think about my sister and myself.
I think this song and Vintage People are about Sherri and Stacy themselves.

i broke out the album for the first time in awhile and i was wondering if this was a song composed by Sherri for Stacy.

i'm also wondering what the significance of the number 10 is.

any ideas?

When I first heard this song, instead of "paperback books" I thought she was saying "paperbag looks" and I loved that.

Yeah, and her knees in the Marvelous Things video*. She's evil.

* Reference to old, but funny, idea that the "grass" on Sherri's knees spells out "DIE." I think the grass was actually drawn on with a marker. Something like that ...
