It depends what kind of day i'm having... On days off, I don't typically wear socks until I decide to go out of the house: that requires shoes, which require socks. On freezing days off, I put socks on regardless. Every other day i wear socks. Socks with slippers, too. That's quite comfortable. And because i'm too lazy to take 'em off before putting on the slippers. The same reasoning applies to bed time: i can't be bothered to take 'em off, so i generally don't.
