Let's just say they're not in it for the money. _________________ My photography:www.jamiemphoto.com You can't spell awesome without emo...backwards! -Julie definingawesome (11:44:11 PM): Eisley shivers our timbers |

As it is, I am rather hard pressed for money myself. Which is why I am the idiot making an issue of this. Believe it or not, at the point I am in my life, I can't really afford any music. Period. And seeing that my old Eisley collection isn't in my hands anymore, and I don't have any sort of ipod which I can plug into my friends libraries, I don't really have a way to listen to Eisley at all. |

It has been years of a focused family effort to see Eisley succeed, but Boyd is the bread winner for the whole clan. I am sorry that you cannot afford any Eisley music. Trust me...I know what it's like to live lean....family of 8 on one income. I don't understand the "looking at Eisley as a business" comment. Are bands not a business? Of course they are....and this is one mom that prays that this record begins to bring some financial reward. Record companys are what they are, but they have sunk a lot of money into this band, and they deserve to get a pay back on these songs. I'm sure at some point you will be able to get a hold of the new album for free. |

What does their financial situation have to do with marketing an album well? Even if you're Paul Mccartney, you still want to do what you can to get people to feel a huge want for the album. And it seems to me that they're definitely succeeding thus far. Oh and don't worry, nothing you said could've come off as being even the slightest bit rude. _________________ Hi. I'm Eric.

Dear JonSnow, I know, it's frustrating waiting, and all we get is one huge song, while the real gems are still in hiding, and the clips are like a single M&M out of a tear and share bag, whetting the appetite and then leaving us with NOTHING!!!!! But I would caution: Don't call names, especially in this forum full of incredibly devoted fans and friends who are patienly waiting as well. Just...punch a pillow or something cynthia |

Kim, as the release draws closer and we hear more of what the band has produced, I'd be very suprised if this album doesn't do a great deal better than the last one did. Everything feels much better this time round, and i think we all believe that the band deserve it. _________________ "A mathematician is a blind man in a dark room looking for a black cat which isn't there." - Charles Darwin (legend) |

Be happy you got the minute long clips, most music on myspace isn't working where I live, and the photos too. Stupid etisalat. But Invasion is amazing, and I am truly praying for you guys as a band and a family. _________________ To Write Love On Her Arms the world is poor because her fortune is buried in the sky and all her treasure maps are of the earth. |

i think its a great idea - i like the new song (invasion) and the clips so much i'm probably going to pre order the disc. when could we order them already. I think i got like one of the first 1000 copies of room noises from tower.com + an autographed copy, a used copy of the 2 eps for under $25. are yall going to do a promo like that again? |

There is plenty of free Eisley music. On this site (click the new Invasion song, click gthe music tab, click the New Videos tab), on orange gold and green many of the old songs before they were signed. Why begrudge a band for not giving away whole songs, even before the album is out? And yeah, what Kim said. The band makes nothing and hopes it all pays off on the back end. Making albums / touring takes money and does not make money at their stage of the business. I hope they make some $ this go around. |
